I’m late to it, but this is a fantastic documentary that engages the issues I have with digital distribution and the end of physical media.

The big downside of the convenience. Things you buy can be altered/censored/deleted at any time.
Even a seemingly good thing like Apple updating HD purchases to UHD can be bad if you don’t like the new transfer. You’re stuck with the update as far as I know.

Just finished Not For Resale (@GameStoreDoc) and loved it! So many great stories about people and their memories with games. These stores are clearly much more than just a point of sale. I hope they find ways to endure the increasingly digital landscape.

Watching this, it’s been fun so far. Some days I really miss all my belongings that I lost. Slowly got some of it back, but mostly only if it benefits 2.0.
I love the convenience of digital and I hate clutter, but miss having shelves of gaming pride haha.
