Before you try to argue against that, go and look at the data.
Since Labour came into power:
Net immigration: ↓ 74%
Small boat arrivals: ↓ 44%
Asylum seekers in hotels: ↓ 46%
And continuing this trend.

You’re a ghoul. The £10bn figure is real. Your framing isn’t.
It was £10.1bn of Universal Credit paid to households containing at least one non-UK/Irish national in 2024.
That includes:
• people in work on low incomes
• housing and childcare support
• mixed British/foreign households
• long-settled EU citizens and people with ILR
And your 1.5 million figure is a different measure from a different year: people who claimed UC at some point during 2025, not 1.5m people simultaneously receiving £10bn in 2024.
The numbers are not fabricated…
