Narcissists detest genuinely good people.
They actually feel like their life is being threatened by a good person and they feel a need to smear campaign and destroy them however they can get away with.
Imagine burning with hatred because someone is genuinely good and honest. Narcissists are scary people.

I grew up in a narcissistic household as the scapegoat. I sometimes feel like I'm the cancer because I accepted this treatment from others. I allowed them to be this way to me. As a child, I had no choice. My 20-35ish yrs old disastrous relationships were my normal of dysfunction.
Realizing this was not normal behavior was my learning curve. We don't know what is not dysfunctional until we start seeing functional behavior.

Over 8,000 people killed in Gaza in 22 days.
Adjusting for population size, that would be the equivalent of killing around 250,000 people in the UK in 22 days.
Bear in mind that 43,500 UK civilians were killed in the Blitz, and that was over 8 months.
