This is easily the most successful Rugby League World Cup I've seen in my lifetime.
Good crowds at most games, the TV ratings have been brilliant, we have at 4 true contenders for the title...I've really enjoyed it so far!

Not an RFL apologists by any means, but given the club's chequered ownership history and financial troubles - I see why they would want greater oversight of the finances.
North Wales' owners say they've pulled out of the 2027 Championship and have been 'failed' by the RFL.
Governing body asked for £150,000 in an escrow, club complied, showed proof of funding ~£500k but still no licence given. So decision made to pull out.

As I predicted - a permanent move down South in all but name. The final nail in the coffin for NW RL. The club in its various guises & owners (along with @WalesRugbyL) has failed to put a proper player pathway in place, as well as put time and effort into the community game.
Breaking: Jamie Elkaleh and the North Wales Crusaders have officially agreed a deal that will see the Electric Brewery Field Stadium in Bridgend, becoming its permanent home.
