Father with a gun stops killer on murderous rampage. Three children and a teacher killed but many more innocent lives saved because a good man with a gun stopped the killer. The school was a “gun-free zone.”
Evil exists and it can only be defeated with courage, strength, honesty, and real solutions, not with ridiculous signs that declare “gun-free zones” which only render schools soft targets.
We need trained security officers with guns in every school to protect our most precious assets: our children.
My prayers are with those affected by this absolute horror, the children and the teacher that lost their lives, and all the parents that will never see their children again. May God bless this community and the hero father who saved so many people.

Some of these politicians are sounding like lunatics. They invent nothing. They develop nothing. And let me be clear, if these doomer-Luddite politicians have their way, the new medicines and technologies resulting from AI-data centers that are going to save lives, improve the quality of life, and increase the standard of living for untold numbers of people, would not happen. They are literally trying to cripple these industries and these businesses, and they are also actively helping the Communist Chinese leapfrog our companies and our country. NEWS: Michael P. Desronvil, the lone holdout juror in Lindsay Clancy’s murder trial, is speaking out — and says he refused to abandon his guilty vote despite intense pressure from the rest of the jury.
Desronvil says he concluded from the evidence that Clancy knew what she was doing when she killed her three children — Cora, Dawson and Callan — with exercise bands. He says deliberations began with eight jurors favoring acquittal, two voting guilty and two undecided. Eventually, the other guilty vote changed, leaving Desronvil standing alone.
He has accused some fellow jurors of acting like “activists” who had made up their minds before seriously weighing the prosecution’s case.
Whatever happens next, Desronvil’s account is striking: one juror, surrounded by 11 people who disagreed with him, refused to change his vote simply to produce a verdict.
Supporters are now praising him for doing exactly what jurors are supposed to do — judge the evidence independently, hold his ground and refuse to be pressured into a decision he did not believe was just.
The result was a mistrial rather than an acquittal, meaning prosecutors still have the opportunity to pursue the case again.
For those who believe the evidence supported guilt, Desronvil didn’t obstruct justice — he prevented a verdict he believed would have denied it.

I’m working with DA Lisa Smittcamp and Sheriff John Zanoni to bring an ordinance allowing our prosecutors to carry weapons to protect themselves if they have CCW licenses. Sacramento politicians have weakened criminal laws and made the state unsafe for our communities and families as evidenced by this brazen attack on a County prosecutor. The attacker has a long rap sheet and should’ve been in prison rather than on the street.
Our law enforcement agencies are phenomenal and work everyday to protect us. But police officers and deputy sheriffs can’t be everywhere. Since Newsom and his fellow radicals in the legislature love criminals and close prisons, it’s incumbent on people to protect themselves and their families. In 2019, in an effort to communicate why Christians should care about politics, I came up with this mantra: “Politics matters because policy matters because people matter. Politics affects policy, policy affects people, and people matter.”
Abortion is perhaps the most obvious example of that truth. The legalized slaughter of babies should be enough to animate every Christian to do everything possible, both personally and politically, to join the fight.
I have no tolerance for the Christians - and especially the pastors - who see abortion as “too divisive” and therefore a subject to be avoided or caveated to death. We are literally talking about helpless babies being poisoned and dismembered. It is the child sacrifice of old, just euphemized and sterilized. If you can’t speak up now, you wouldn’t have spoken up then.
For all of the black square posting, social justice posturing of Mushy Middle Christians, when it comes to something as tangible and as clear as abortion, suddenly they’re full of nuance and trepidation.
Let me break it you: abortion isn’t nuanced. They’re just cowards.
And it’s not because they “don’t want to be political,” it’s because they don’t want to be Biblical. You can’t even get through Genesis 1 without seeing the sanctity of life, the definition of marriage, and the reality of male and female.
For the Christian, these aren’t just “culture war” issues. They’re Biblical ones. And if you won’t engage in them, it’s not because you don’t want to be divisive, it’s because you don’t want to be a Christian.
Christians have stood against the slaughter and objectification of children for millennia. When we stop, darkness prevails and thousands of babies endure slow and torturous murders at the hands of bloodthirsty merchants of death.
