One of the reasons Picard S3 was so satisfying is that it (read: Terry Matalas) finally recognized the importance of Beverly Crusher to Picard's story, when she'd been inexplicably omitted from S1-2. Picard wouldn't be who he was without her. The writers understood this.

Patrick Stewart is often remembered for his grandiose theater acting but was incredibly skilled at silence as well. One of my favorite moments of #StarTrek Picard between him and Gates McFadden where they sell 25 years of distance, hurt, shame and relief in total silence
It's a weird day (this year also difficult for most), but it is my duty to say every year: BE CAREFUL OUT THERE, it's #Halloween 🎃🧙♀️👻
(To be on the safe side: don't lit green candles! Just a suggestion)
“Engage” will have a very bittersweet sound from now on. Thanks for all, Sir! 🫡
Every character, every laughter, every sonnet, every special touch you put into your art for us. You leave a legacy like few others.

BEVERLY CRUSHER IS A BADASS.
And she had to come out of a freaking cloud of steam for you to understand it.
