I give you…Makimoid
Harry had been lost for nearly ten minutes when he finally spotted another first-year.
Red hair. Freckles. Hand-me-down robes.
“You lost too?” the boy asked.
Harry laughed. “Yeah.”
“I’m Ron. Ron Weasley.”
“Harry—”
“You’re Harry Potter.”
Before Harry could answer, a calm voice came from behind them.
“Potter.”
They turned.
An older Slytherin girl stood at the end of the corridor, immaculate in green and silver, watching Harry with a faint smile.
“You’re going the wrong way.”
Her eyes flicked once toward Ron.
Ron caught it immediately.
“What’s that supposed to mean?”
She ignored him and walked closer.
“You’re new. Hogwarts can be confusing at first.” Her eyes settled back on Harry. “It helps to know the right people.”
Ron stepped forward.
“I was helping him.”
She never looked away from Harry.
“Yes. For now.”
Then she held out her hand.
“I can help you, Potter.”
Harry hesitated.
Ron had seemed nice.
But the older girl was smiling at him with the serene confidence of someone who already knew what he was going to do.
Harry took her hand.
“Okay.”
She led him away.
“Harry!” Ron called after them.
Makimoid glanced back over her shoulder.
“See?”
Harry blinked.
“See what?”
Her smile widened.
“Wrong way.”

Malfoid chose Harry over her father’s ideology and Lord Voldemort.
In the end, Lucius chose her over Voldemort too.
Now he lies dead at her feet, killed protecting his daughter—and Draco has to face the cruelest truth of all:
She made the right choice.
It still cost her everything.
