I love when assholes post a response and block you before you can reply to them. If your employer can’t afford to just raise the price of every item by the amount of the surcharge. Yes, you will absolutely only get a 16% tip instead of a 20% tip from me. 16% is still a solid tip
Yeah, punish the service worker because of forces outside their control. Brilliant

Holy shit I’m finally out of shadow ban jail!
I love being shadow banned and having none of my posts appear under anyone I respond to anymore. Thanks @elonmusk for promoting free speech and completely blocking anyone who won’t pay for a checkmark for appearing on the timeline.

Bro just cut the bullshit. It ain’t happening. You delulu bulls give everyone else who is tracking the stock a bad name.
$TSLA to have an annual run-rate of 100,000 Optimus Bots by end of this year? That's what suppliers of Tesla's are saying: "Tesla directed Optimus Gen 3 suppliers to ramp capacity to 1,000 units/week by September and 2,000–2,500 by year-end to support up to 100,000 robots annually." According to the leak info from these suppliers in China. Elon has mentioned before that he will be surprised if Tesla is not producing 100,000 Optimus Bots on a monthly basis by 2030.

@Support How about you actually tell me why I got shadow banned since I can’t figure it out and you have provided zero info on when my account will go back to normal again. I will not pay for an X subscription but that doesn’t mean I’m a spam bot. Had an account for years.

Hey @StubHub I bought tickets in Feb for a show coming up on June 23rd and still haven’t received my tickets. How is it acceptable you are allowed to send me tickets less than 3 hours before a show starts? Are you reselling tickets from people who don’t actually have the tickets?

I didn’t say 200 km of range. I said I’m driving 80-85 mph and can make it 2 hours and have to charge from 10-60% for 15-20 min. That’s 260-270 km not 200.

I also said I can drive 3 hours at 80-85 mph at 100% which is about 380 km. The issue is repeatability on an 1,100 mile road trip when trip planner targets a 10-60% charge to minimize travel time. It’s the 3rd charge and beyond that is the issue, not the first stop.

Okay but @thejefflutz we were promised the ability to add our consumer cars to the Robotaxi fleet and make $. Why wouldn’t we all be entitled to this upgrade for our “full FSD purchase price”?The point wasn’t for Tesla to flood the market with its own fleet of cars w/ HW changes
Replying to @GerberKawasaki
1. This is a simple upgrade but won’t be necessary on existing vehicles, this is for Robotaxis 2. There’s a difference between an autonomous fleet that should self clean, and customer-owned vehicles

Hold on — you LITERALLY sold 1000 shares of $TSLA in the $170 range because you were afraid of Elon not getting a judge to compensate him correctly back in April 2024. You capitulated on your Tesla stock over something that was, quite frankly, one of the easiest things to not capitulate over. Now you are saying there aren’t people that would want to sell because of declining earnings and Elon starting a beef with the most powerful man on the planet? Lol. I’m not saying selling here before robotaxi makes sense (I’d just sell calls) but you sold for a way worse reason than this so it’s pretty weird for you to not understand why people would want to sell her if you yourself sold literally because you were afraid Elon wouldn’t get paid.

When you sell your home, you’re not paying a 6% commission. You’re paying closer to 20% of your equity. Math: $2M home 30% down is $600k of your cash 6% of the $2M is $120k So you’re paying $120k of the $600k: Yup, 20%.

My parents down payment in 1978 was $11,800. They paid $59k for their 🏡. Just the down payment would be worth over $2M today invested in the S&P500. Instead they have a paid off 🏡 worth about $600k that costs $1k a month in taxes & insurance.

They could have burned $1M on rent over the past 46 years and still had $1M more by renting vs owning. You can do very well for yourself if you invest early and often in life. Then your investments can pay your rent forever.

Brief series of events: Jan 2018: Tesla announces bold new long-term performance award for Elon Musk, a 100% at-risk performance award which ensures that he will be compensated only if Tesla and all of its shareholders do extraordinarily well. Hitting the top market cap milestone would require a 10x in the stock. Jan 2018: The media laughs at these goals, stating "experts would contend are laughably impossible and would make Tesla one of the five largest companies in the United States, based on current valuations." March 2018: 73% of all $TSLA shareholders approve Elon's new long-term performance award package. June 2018: $TSLA shareholder Richard Tornetta files a lawsuit, claiming that the Tesla board of directors breached its fiduciary duties for waste, and Musk has breached his own fiduciary duties for unjust enrichment. Dec 2020: Tesla hits a $650 billion market cap, the top market cap milestone in the package, a 10x from early 2018. 2020: The first tranches of Elon's 2018 performance award package trigger. Jan 2024: Judge McCormick concludes: "The process for coming up with Elon's comp plan wasn't independent because Elon controlled the Board and the directors who approved the plan weren't truly independent. Further, the shareholders who approved the comp plan weren't made aware of this controlled relationship. Hence, the $55.8B comp plan is voided." My opinion: Could Tesla have done a better job preparing/wording the 2018 proxy statement? Yes. Having said that, this ruling feels like an insult to $TSLA shareholders. For the Judge in this ruling to suggest shareholders were not aware of the close relationship between Elon and some of the Tesla Board members is simply ridiculous. I (and many others) knew exactly what we were voting on in 2018 and why. We approved an extremely ambitious compensation plan that gave Elon no guaranteed compensation of any kind - no salary, no cash bonuses, and no equity that vests simply by the passage of time. Instead, Elon's only compensation would be a 100% at-risk performance award, which ensured that he would be compensated only if Tesla and all of its shareholders did extraordinarily well. I would approve it all over again if I had to. This compensation package couldn't be gamed by Elon. He had to hit extremely difficult market cap and revenue milestones to get any of these tranches. And then if he did hit those tough targets, he couldn't sell the shares from the package for 5 years once exercised. So many "experts", Wall Street types, etc, laughed at Elon and Tesla in 2018 and said these market cap milestones were impossible. Elon then delivered on them. Tesla stock is up 10x since the 2018 compensation package was announced, and revenue up 9x.
