It would have been his birthday today.
He hated Bradford. He'd have loved it in that away end.
Miss you Dad. Hope you were watching on. 💙
Massive credit to Martin Drury and Jon Stead. Was very underwhelmed by the appointment given the results back end of last seaon but they have proven me and others wrong.
Recruitment team deserve a lot of credit too. Some superb additions over the summer.
UTT.
What a difference a season makes
Up there with one of the best away days
Say it quietly, but we actually look the real deal dont we?
Said before its started that October was massive given who we had to play but weve pretty much sailed through it
Could be one of THEM seasons
Will make things interesting outside Bradford Arms thats for sure
onto the quarters.. glad Phillip's got his goal - can't imagine what it would have done for his confidence if he didn't.
Anyways.. It would be shame if we ALL left North Parade at 11:45 on Saturday to make our way towards VP 👀

Derby week build up is so tedious in the modern age. Grown bloke arguing about trophies, attendances, who is a 'bigger club's etc
Can't we all just agree Town hate Bradford, and Bradford hate Town, and just have a scrap on Saturday like the old days instead?
As someone who referees on a semi-regular basis this is one of the biggest problems and it causes so much aggravation during ganes, and it's the fact that a lot of players/fans get irate because they don't actually understand the laws of the game they are playing/watching
Just to highlight how fucking poor this Premier League refereeing is…
Jarred Gillett gives Newcastle offside, yet Aston Villa take the resulting free kick INSIDE the Newcastle half, exactly where the linesman is indicating the offside occurred.
And this is in the build-up to Villa’s goal.
Can someone explain how an offside offence in Villa’s half results in a free kick for Villa in Newcastle’s half? Make that make fucking sense. 🤦♂️

This 'mIND tHE GAp' bollocks needs to stop, from both sides.
Nether have been far enough in front of the other at any point for it to be used effectively.
Give it up.
Going to be honest, didn't expect that today at all, especially the injuries at CB.
Thought Wednesday and Plymouth were the first real tests of the season and we outplayed Wednesday for most of the game and beat Plymouth comfortably.
10 games in always a good time to judge. Dare we start to believe now?
In control of that game until 78th minute when DSR, Balker and Murray went off injured within 5 mins of each, that upsets any team.
However, subs were poor and you could see it coming. You cant just hoof into space continually and expect to see a game out.
Posting this isn't really the win they think it is.
Last time out 🆚 Sheffield Wednesday...

Much better from #htafc today, and a great win.
Disagree with Drury who suggested he wasn't as pleased with the performance as the 'numbers' weren't as good as some previous games. Personally thought it was the best overall away performance I've seen this season.

Oi, @NationalHways any reason why M1 Northbound has been 50mph speed limit for past 50 or so miles coming into South Yorkshire?
4 lanes fully open and about 8 cars on the road.
Seen some comparisons with THAT game at Macclesfield back in 2003 I don't think we are at that stage just yet, last few performances have raised cause for concern.
2nd half vs MK, poor at Cambridge bar last 10, lacklustre vs Notts County, nothing vs 10 at Mansfield & now today.
Drury was keen to say were 'men' when we were winning. We need to also be 'men' when it gets tough & teams get physical with us. We have to be brave and match that as a minimum otherwise days like today will be much more common & fans wont stand for that.
Powder puff display from #htafc today
Never looked up for the fight & absolutely zero quality in the final 3rd
Bromley aren't good, their record speaks for itself & we didn't lay a proper glove on them all game
If you're winning promotion you turn up today & get the job done
