Evangelion was originally pitched partly toward elementary-school children.
The original production proposal listed the intended audience as grade-school students, junior-high students and general households.
Considering how dark and psychologically intense the finished second half became, Evangelion ended up very far from the relatively broad family-oriented show that was initially being presented.
There's gotta be at least one other person in the Evangelion fandom who also watches Miraculous and can confirm this. They're the same.
I can't believe we're already getting season 7 episodes so quickly. I've been watching Miraculous since day one, and I don't think there's ever been this short of a gap between seasons.
