Why is it every time there is a shooting in a state that has done what you asked, the response is to pretend like it's Montana or something?

You also helped make it easier for localities in Oregon to ban armed citizens from legally carrying on school grounds, and based on current reporting, an armed bystander is what stopped the suspect today.
My heart is completely broken for the children, families, teachers, and entire Silver Rail Elementary community in Bend, Oregon today.
Elementary school should be about jungle gyms, math class, and making new friends—not learning where to hide from a shooter. We cannot keep asking our children to be brave enough to survive school shootings. Our leaders must be brave enough to stop them.

ChatGPT launches new anti-gun AI policies one day after Everytown recommends new anti-gun AI policies.
The popular artificial intelligence assistant is now completely anti-gun.
Gennifer Hesseling is the “shop mom” at a gun shop she started with her husband Phil in 2017, Hesseling & Sons Firearms & Gunsmithing.
The business began in their garage almost 10 years ago, but they now occupy a 15,000 square foot facility located in Lima, Ohio.
Gennifer, who has a background in graphic design, handles all of the shop’s marketing and social media, which has grown tremendously due to her hard work.
She had been relying heavily on ChatGPT, an artificial intelligence or AI assistant made by OpenAI.
“I’ve learned to be cautious because of the industry we’re in, but ChatGPT would help write copy and other media,” Gennifer said Monday. “We had a playful voice on our social media. I’m creative but if you tune your chatbot, it can mimic what you do and make it easier for you. It knows you and your products. It created actual ad campaigns. It would write and promote products for us. If I gave my chatbot what was in my head it would create it quickly.”
One ad campaign was designed to presell specific products before the gun shop actually got them in stock. It was tremendously successful.
Earlier this month, Gennifer wanted to create another ad campaign for gold-plated Desert Eagle pistols, which the shop was about to acquire.
Unfortunately, her AI said no.
“Until this month, we’ve never had an issue, but something changed. Our AI changed,” she said. “We’ve never had a restriction from ChatGPT about selling guns or promoting gun sales. Basically, the AI said, ‘I know we’ve done this in the past, but I can’t help you now.’ I was not selling anything illegal. I was asking my chatbot to assist with sales of lawful products.”

Rascal just got back from the jungle and already got handed this concrete jungle raid, so help the poor guy out and get in on it.
Just when Rascal thought he had made it back from the jungle he gets assigned this raid. I suppose they call it the "concrete jungle" in D.C. but this bungalow was way too on theme. Between the "brotherly love" and the bananas and rice the poor animal is fed up with this crime scene.
Word is they are gonna have to go back in so Rascal wants you to take this rifle. The Springfield Armory Saint Victor should hold up well in this mushy ricey environment and you will have some of Ziggy's gun grease to help keep it running. 🚨 BREAKING: Virginia State University on LOCKDOWN
Multiple people shot on campus this morning. Multiple suspects involved.
Police confirm several victims transported to hospitals. University says none of the injuries appear life-threatening at this time.
Campus remains locked down. Students told to shelter in place and avoid the residential area where it happened.
No arrests announced yet. Chesterfield County Police and campus police are on scene investigating.
Praying for the victims and their families. Will update as more details come out.

I have serious concerns about the rollout of Flock cameras in Knox County. I believe they are a threat to our privacy and civil liberties. Commission is holding a special session prior to their regular meeting Monday to discuss this issue, and I will have more to say as well.

Mrs. Rex had a mountain bike accident yesterday and dislocated her shoulder. Thankfully, we always wear helmets, waiting to make sure everything else is good. In a dark mental place, so any positivity is appreciated.
Lord have mercy, when that big ol’ bighorn sheep wandered down from @BrownellsInc in Iowa to join @TheRascallion on the porch for some sweet tea and Mountain Dew, I knew we were in for trouble!
They got to jawin’ about the glory days of double-barrel coach guns and trusty wheelguns, and next thing you know, we’re all fixin’ to defend the holler from revenuers, wayward possums, and anybody who badmouths a good Stoeger 12ga paired with a Heritage Roscoe .38 Special.
This combo screams one barrel for the warnings, one for the “I told you so,” and a Roscoe for when the raccoon starts runnin’ his mouth again.

Our friend, @TheRascallion , was so pleased when that beloved big horn sheep decided to take a short leave from @BrownellsInc in Iowa and come have some porch time here in Appalachia! They got to jawin', of course, as big horn sheep and rascally raccoons are want to do, and began waxing about how much fun the old standbys can be. The trusty side by side and the sweet .38 special are hard to beat.
