Important Update From the Glue Team: Hi everyone. We wanted to share an important update about the future of Glue. For nearly five years, we’ve been building the Glue ecosystem with one mission in mind: making crypto easier and more accessible for everyday users. Along the way, we’ve achieved a great deal. The launch of the Glue Blockchain and Glue Hub introduced thousands of users to a simpler, more user-friendly way to access crypto. More recently, we’ve been building our flagship cross-chain application alongside @StargateFinance and @LayerZero_Core - more details soon! That said, the blockchain landscape has evolved significantly since we first started building Glue. Over the last few years, infrastructure across crypto has improved enormously. Scalability has increased, costs have fallen, and the ecosystem today looks very different from when Glue first began. After extensive consideration, we’ve come to the conclusion that maintaining a dedicated Glue blockchain is no longer the best way for us to achieve our mission. Instead, we believe the opportunity ahead has changed, and is focused on consumer-friendly apps. As a result, we will be sunsetting the Glue Blockchain over the next two weeks. June 24 2026 will be the last day the Glue Blockchain and Hub will be operable. What does this mean? -The Glue Blockchain will shut down in two weeks. -If you currently hold assets on the Glue Blockchain, please bridge them out as soon as possible. After the shutdown date, these assets will no longer be accessible. -If you hold $GLUE on other networks, please bridge your tokens onto the Glue Blockchain ahead of the snapshot. We will be taking a final snapshot of all $GLUE holders... which may be beneficial to holders in the future Final Date to access the Glue Blockchain: June 24 2026 The Future: While this chapter is ending, our mission remains unchanged. We still believe crypto has a long way to go when it comes to onboarding and usability. As a team, our greatest strength has always been helping new users access crypto in a way that feels intuitive and approachable. Going forward, we’ll be focusing our full attention on our consumer-facing applications - the Glue Hub and our new cross-chain mobile app, which has been accepted into both major app stores already. We’ve also received strong interest from chains and infrastructure partners interested in taking the Glue Hub forward, or acquiring it outright. As a result, we’ll likely be moving Glue onto a new blockchain partner, bringing both the Glue Hub and our cross-chain mobile app into a broader ecosystem that we believe is better positioned for long-term growth. More details to come as those talks progress. We’re incredibly excited about this next phase and believe it gives us the opportunity to move faster, reach more users, and continue delivering on our mission of making crypto simple and accessible.
