God And Gigs

Expecting to be 'inspired' every time you open the Bible? You're setting yourself up for disappointment - because that's NOT what God intended for you when you encounter His Word. So many creatives think that because the Bible is full of wisdom, inspiration and encouragement, that they can expect to have a flood of inspiration every single time they open the Word - only to feel let-down when there's no 'spark' or revelation. That's because they are looking for the wrong thing. 2 Timothy 3:16 tells us that "ALL Scripture is inspired..." not just the parts we like or that give us goosebumps. We don't read the Bible to BE inspired, we read it because it IS inspired. We encourage all of our creative community to join us as we make the Bible the focus of our creative lives for the 30 days of November! And check out our plans in YouVersion if you need something to connect with your spiritual and creative life! Comment PLAN if you'd like a link to our library of YouVersion devotionals!
