ppl genuinely don’t understand how frustrating living with this is
If your partner is neurodivergent and she spends her whole day off on the couch, then cries at 9pm about wasting it, learn the words ADHD paralysis.
She had 12 things she wanted to do. Her brain couldn't pick the first one, so it picked none. You think she's lazy.
Don't ask "What do you want to get done today?" At 10am, hold out her shoes. "We're walking to get coffee." Once she's moving, she'll pick the next thing herself. All she ever needed was someone to take the first step with her.

This is Laika’s magnum opus.
The story is simple, but gripping. The world feels alive and dangerous. The danger itself is real (people DIE in this). The animation is so good, I forgot it was stop motion at parts. Art in motion on screen.

The Dollhouse makes everyone uncomfortable. By design. The general mood was inspired by my own traumatic experiences as a child. We can't always avoid these things.
But we can transmute the memory of those things into art. And we must 🖤

Well since god only exists to cause me pain I’ve been without power for hours and will continue to be until 9. I have no money so anything helps so I can get something to eat and something cold to drink somewhere. Unfortunately I have to figure out how to bring Turtle.
