A photo from the March for Life, shared today by Oxford Intersectional Uprising 🤮 They really thought *this* protest sign was one to feature? “Kids deserve parents who want them.” He must have forgotten to write the rest: “And the kids whose parents don’t want them deserve. . . to die.” I guess that’s not as inspiring. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Yesterday’s March for Life in London provided a disturbing illustration of what happens when the law appears to be enforced selectively. Pro-abortion counter-protesters in Parliament Square were apparently permitted to use amplified sound despite the specific legal restrictions governing its use there. Robert Stephenson-Padron OBE @bobpadron, who is public-order trained, challenged the @metpoliceuk inspector in charge, pointed out the relevant law but eventually had to take his complaint publicly to the Metropolitan Police before action was taken. Whatever your views on abortion, this ought to concern you. The police are not there to decide which demonstrators deserve the protection of the law and which restrictions can conveniently be overlooked. Protesters on both sides are entitled to the same freedoms, subject to the same restrictions, enforced by the same standard. Equal treatment before the law is not optional.

Public has not been polled on the specific (extremely controversial) provisions of the bill. Do you agree with Falconer that if you request AS “because in your mind you are influenced by your circumstances—for example, because you are poor,” the NHS can give you lethal drugs?
