Good Egg Safety CIC

Huge congratulations to Sammie for winning the coveted Ferrero Rocher advent calendar, pipping her colleagues to the post with the most correct answers on the buzzer! 🏆🍫 Lovely to see a professional Chiltern nanny recognising that keeping children safe in their car seats is one of THE most valuable skills a nanny can have. Thank you, Sammie, for your wonderful feedback and commitment to child safety. 💚 Parents choosing a nanny should always ask: have they completed this accredited, industry approved, child car seat safety training programme, which includes a robust practical assessment? It deserves a place alongside first aid on every parent’s checklist. #GoodEggSafety #ChildCarSeatSafety #ProfessionalNanny #NannyTraining #ChilternNannies #ChildSafety #CPDTraining #SaferJourneys

Two Safe System pillars. One shared purpose: preventing death and serious injury. Our partnership with TyreSafe and West Yorkshire Vision Zero brings Safer Vehicles and Safer Road Users together through practical, community-based support. Safe, well-maintained tyres help drivers brake, steer and maintain grip, reducing the risk of a collision. A correctly selected and fitted child car seat, used properly on every journey, helps protect a child if a collision happens. The equipment and the people using it work in tandem. Families need both safe products and the knowledge, confidence and practical support to use and maintain them correctly. By combining child seat and tyre safety checks in one visit, we can identify risks, explain what needs to change and help families take action. This is the Safe System in practice: complementary layers of protection, delivered through partnership. Good Egg Safety will be joining TyreSafe and West Yorkshire Vision Zero for FREE child seat and tyre safety checks: 📍 Xscape, Colorado Way, Castleford, WF10 4TA 📅 Friday 6 November 🕙 10am–3pm Please share with colleagues, local networks and families who could benefit. #SafeSystem #VisionZero #ChildPassengerSafety #TyreSafety #RoadSafety

Loving working with this brilliant group of professionals at one of my favourite training venues, GTG Wolverhampton. Half the class scored 100% in their end-of-day-one quiz, with substantial improvements on their pre-assessment results. Such an encouraging start! With this level of enthusiasm and commitment, I have high hopes they’ll earn a place among our top ten training cohorts of the past two years. Looking forward to seeing what today brings—and helping them turn that knowledge into safer journeys for children. 🧡 Ps a big thanks to Crispy donuts 🍩 for their amazing gift. Went down a treat:)

Around two thirds of child seats we check - and we have checked and made safe almost 48000 child seats - are either incorrectly fitted to child, vehicle or both. For peace of mind we invite you to come and check yours so that in the event of a collision you can be confident you have done everything possible to ensure your child’s safety. 🙏 No judgement just sound and friendly support 👇

Yesterday in Leeds we spoke to many mums who were so relieved to get their seats checked properly. Some had been given their child seats in damn boxes and not shown how to correctly fit them in their car nor check that they even fitted their car in the first instance It made us realise just how important our work still is. We are a non profit community interest company and our mission is to reduce avoidable child Passenger casualties Please help us to achieve this by sharing this post with any friends or family in the area Thank you 🙏

🚗 BRADFORD – WE’RE HERE TODAY, AS YOUR FAMILY’S SAFETY MATTERS! 🚗 ⚠️ Last time we visited Bradford, almost 3 out of every 4 child car seats we checked were incorrectly fitted. And that wasn't all… Our TyreSafe colleagues discovered that 1 in 6 vehicles had tyre defects serious enough to fail an MOT. These weren't just statistics. They were real families, driving on everyday journeys, completely unaware of the risks. 💛 The good news? Every child seat fitting error we identified was corrected there and then, including serious faults that could have had devastating consequences in a collision. 🚨 TODAY, WE'RE BACK IN BRADFORD TO HELP KEEP MORE FAMILIES SAFE! Our Good Egg Safety and TyreSafe experts are joining forces once again, together with the brilliant team from National Highways, offering: ✅ FREE child car seat safety checks – Is your child's seat suitable, correctly fitted and adjusted to protect them? ✅ FREE tyre safety checks – Are your tyres safe, legal and ready for the road? ✅ Friendly, practical advice from experienced specialists who are here to help, not judge. 📍 ASDA, BRADFORD – TODAY! ❤️ You can't always prevent a collision. But you CAN take steps to protect the people you love if one happens. Please come and see us. Even if you're confident everything is fitted correctly, it's worth getting it checked. And if you know a parent, grandparent or carer in Bradford, PLEASE SHARE THIS POST. You could help protect a child without ever knowing it. 🥚 Good Egg Safety CIC / TyreSafe / National Highways Working together to make every journey safer. #Bradford #GoodEggSafety #TyreSafe #ChildCarSeatSafety #SafeTyresSaveLives #RoadSafety #ChildSafety #VisionZero #Nationalhighways

What a privilege to review the feedback from our Advanced Child Seat Safety Training — made possible only through valuable grant funding from the Department for Transport. The comments from our newly trained Safety Advisors are a powerful reminder of why this work matters. If we are serious about reducing avoidable child occupant deaths and serious injuries, the professionals advising parents must have the knowledge, practical skills and confidence to get child seat safety right. This is not simply about understanding the legislation. It is about recognising incompatibility, identifying potentially serious fitting errors and giving parents accurate, evidence-led advice they can trust. We are incredibly proud to play our part. 🧡 If you are a road safety, emergency service, health or other professional advising families on the safe transportation of children, our Advanced Child Seat Safety Training is designed for you: ✔️ Intensive
