Think it's relatively clear what my stance is but to reiterate. (Long post, I'm sorry, I'll make a video after Worlds that's likely more digestible) - Swiss the format itself, fine and better than groups 100% - Having Swiss with draws round 1 that are pooled, I'm *okay* with though I think they are currently pooled poorly - Random draws for the rest of the Swiss, bad - Bo1's on top of that suck but logistical nightmare to fix (not really but we're in cost saving mode at the moment) - Level of disparity run to run especially for teams coming into the tournament that are very relative to one an other is unacceptable. T1 run as LCK 3rd seed vs HLE run as LCK 2nd seed this year as a singular example (the longer you look and draw comparisons between other teams the worse it gets) - Double elimination with swiss in it's current state feels like a must. We're watching 3-0 almost constantly get harder draws to expectation of teams who are finishing 3-1 out of swiss. - We're sacrificing years worth of work for a 5 minute dopamine rush (the draw shows) - People anti DE I don't understand. -1 series total of instant elimination, you get more of the top 8 facing each other (surely that's the draw of Worlds to begin with along side the hope of the team you support doing well) and the fix to upper winner having no advantage in finals is Bo7 Winner starts 1 game up. - The next person who says "just win" we're gonna strap to a comically large fire work like we're in looney tunes and shoot into the moon (it completely swerves around the conversation)
