Ignoring the obvious 🚩 of the typos and test results.
The spec sheet alone is scary 😬
I would expect this for something that legitimately was for research use only and would never see a human.
O.017% purity sermorelin from a 503a pharmacy
This ain’t no “grey all the way” post but more a “come the fuck on” to anyone who believes 503a is by default superior.
Here’s a COA from a 503a compounding pharmacy for a prescription sent to a real patient. Too bad for them that patient was me.
There are levels to this game and the best RUO vendors operate at one that is undeniably more fastidious and transparent than many dog shit 503a’s and vice versa.
This should equalize over time.
Coming to $HIMS soon!

Australian actor dies after injecting peptides - in what is believed to be the nation's first death linked to the unapproved products trib.al/L76XFMN
What was wrong with the current regulatory path that other peptide drugs go through (some that you sell on your website)? Why isn't that framework the "right way"?
Are BPC-157 & TB-500 drugs in your eyes? Are they being sold to treat, cure, mitigate any disease or illness?
Yesterday, HHS issued a draft interim policy that opened a safer, regulated path for peptides including BPC-157 and TB-500. This is a big step forward for access to innovation for more people, and over the last 2 years, we’ve been investing in the domestic infrastructure necessary for this exact moment.
With Peptides+, clinician-led protocols built by the experts in the field plus a world-class infrastructure comes together in the one of the only companies that can deliver quality access to these newly eligible treatments. Through our US based facilities, we’ll be able to offer eligible customers access to the newly allowed peptides made 100% from start to finish in the US, with ongoing clinical support and an entirely US-based supply chain they can trust.

They're drugs, we all know they're drugs, just call them that.
No one talks about mabs/TCEs/ADCs as just proteins
And we got a path toward bringing these out of the "grey market". It's the same one every other drug must follow.
Looking forward to compound TGN1412 from hims!
HHS just took a step toward the exact future that we’ve built for – bringing peptides out of the gray market, with clinician oversight and quality starting at the source. We’ve taken it one step further by building a US-based supply chain and infrastructure that our customers can trust.
This is encouraging progress. More to come.
TLDR: I am happy we can start selling drugs that neither are proven safe or efficacious.
At Hims & Hers, we’re encouraged to see the administration make meaningful progress towards expanding access to peptide therapies through this draft interim policy. As more and more Americans seek these treatments, it is critical to have regulated channels, clinician oversight, quality standards, and transparency - none of which exist in the current gray market.
Our goal has always been to define what responsible access to care looks like. We have spent years building the infrastructure we need in our very own US-based peptide manufacturing facility, developing dosing protocols with clinical experts, and setting up frameworks to better understand these emerging treatments.
We'll keep working to bring these treatments within reach of those who need them, with more news to come soon.
We don't let compounding pharmacies just synthesis and sell random "research chemicals" so why peptides?
Some people just want to be angry.
But seriously, it's only a real biotech company if it comes from the birth place of biotechnology (SSF), anywhere else it's merely sparkling pharmaceuticals.
Replying to @Forever_Wario
Like I’m not that familiar with the specifics yet but sounds like ~20 CROs plus anthropic support? That’s more like a performance art project than a company
I know we all moved on from the "smart bomb" analogy for ADCs, but God damn this graphical abstract is art.
Bucking the status quo of companies turning into ADC companies!!
We got an ADC company ($Bolt) turning into a bispecific company!

MRG007 (CDH17 ADC) #ESMO26
Nice to see PK...
...but the exposure comment is ridiculous 🤯!
Calculated in ng/mL based on Cmax, but MW are very different (150000 vs 435).
In reality exatecan exposure is high (6% of ADC AUC), especially for a DAR4 ADC!
Here replotted (in nM) 👇
It's interesting to think about, when we hand new technologies to scientist, how do we evaluate their impact down stream in actual new drugs/therapies? 🤔
I'm beginning to think there is a pattern here. 🤔
Another interstitial lung disease death raises more deruxtecan doubts - this time with ralu-dxd plus Avastin at #ESMO26. The @ApexOnco take apexonco.com/esmo-2026-anoth…
Mr. @DaveARicks , @EliLillyandCo seems to have the momentum of a runaway freight train. Why are you so successful?
We've trained a Claude agent on a million @benchling ELN entries with the goal of making a model to optimize our experimental design process.
Our learning is that people haven't been doing their ELNing.

people arguing developability is some magic sauce these companies have should look at the literature. you have a series of criteria which are hard coded and very trivial (no cysteines in CDRs, reduce possible glycan sites...etc) to internalize and you have a few softer metrics which are open source on the back end.
twist, genscript, thermo.....these guys don't have any functional readouts downstream so they have *zero* inference to the utility of the expressed molecules and very limited data on the runs that they do put in their workflows for things like aggregation or thermal stability
there is really genuinely nothing special here. i know many pharmas and CROs that have internalized high throughput antibody expression workflows.
TWST and companies like them are selling to a specific crowd (cash rich AI x Bio people) who have shown no ability to do this basic thing (make molecules and test them in vitro) and these companies will eventually run out of money propping up this revenue. likely without any drugs to show for it.
that said, this means the trade is short term bullish but long term bearish. there is no $100B+ or $1T TAM for this work. drug discovery is not being 'revolutionized'. it is being pushed forward incrementally by very smart people with S-tier judgement in translational science and a real ability to execute. not new people who can't even internalize in vitro work with hundreds of millions in cash
A remarkable overestimation of CRO revenue on the back of a slight improvement to in silico pipelines. Genuinely wreckless and very ignorant of market realities.
Yes the AI trade has tailwinds right now but a lot of this post is pure hyperbole and if you're actually putting money on these companies you're better served hedging than putting your foot on the gas of this trade
