Didn’t take many photos but was great to cover the 2026 Wendy Dufton Memorial Tournament this past weekend for @PuckPrepsON !
Saw many high end prospects and watched a lot of great hockey.

There are few defencemen who can move the puck inside the OZ like Bouchard but one of his best assets is his ability to turn pucks up ice.
He helps create a lot of chances from that ability alone.

Evan Bouchard (EDM2) scored a hat trick and two assists for the Oilers on opening night.
Here are his most notable plays and puck touches. #NHLPotN

Betting on young players is rarely a bad thing. It’s how teams extract the most value from players.
May seem silly now but $4M is not worth what it used to be and will continue to be worth less as the cap rises!
Great opportunity for both parties. Ash thinks the game at a high level and has been a great resource and mentor to many, including me. The Grizzlys are getting a good one!
A new set of eyes joins the Den. 👀🐻
The Olds Grizzlys are excited to welcome Ash Glover as our new Head Scout & Director of Scouting.
Ash was part of the Medicine Hat Tigers’ championship-winning team two seasons ago.
Welcome to Grizz Country, Ash! 🖤💛

I am excited to announce that I have accepted a role as an analytics consultant with an OHL club for this upcoming season.
There are many people to thank for getting me here. I cannot wait to get started and am grateful to learn from such an incredible organization.
Incredible get for Shawinigan. I recrntly highlighted Shtyrkhunov (along with other top Russians).
He is an incredibly talented and intelligent defender and rightfully is regarded as one of the top Dmen for the #2027NHLDraft class

Breaking from hockey for a sec, I cannot wait to see this in November.
Very excited for all the LOTR related media that has been released and plans to be released. The little kid in me that fell in love with the Peter Jackson trilogy is over the moon!

Here’s a look at the top-10 Canadian defenders who will become eligible to make a college commitment on August 1st. Adrian Sgro tops the class but there’s no shortage of talented blue liners coming out of 🇨🇦

I think it is insanely close but I give a slight edge to Kopitar overall although I believe Toews’ peak is better.

We have been testing game report cards for @T2TProspects because our mission at Tape2Tape is to encapsulate as much of the game as possible, from the analytics side (tape measurements) to the eye-test side (game tape).
Any feedback you may have is greatly appreciated!
