I work at a theater currently, we aren’t IMAX but we have 16 screens and ever since Thursday we’ve mostly had 14/16 playing Spider-Man We’ve been finishing our closing at 4am

In NYC, IMAX 70mm Odyssey tickets are so in-demand that they're basically just running the theater 24/7 now

These showings are almost all sold out btw People like going to the movies it just they hate most stuff coming out in recent years/it’s removed from theater release/theaters are too expensive I see people easily spend over $100 for 1 trip to the movies which is outrageous

I’m neurodivergent and would correct teachers a lot in school (politely, and I’ve always been pro learning) and they would get mad at me and I could never understand this concept because why would a TEACHER get mad for a correction in learning. And my mom explained to me that

Adults don’t like being corrected and told their wrong or “presumed inferior” and I’ve always thought this was stupid. And learned since that it is MUCH WORSE than was explained as I’ve gotten older. Ignorance may be bliss but it also easily infuriates people when others aren’t

I like when I got my cat I was like oh yeah my cat is normal size then I saw him next to another cat for the first time when he was done growing and was like “actually you’re a big ass Mf” Idk how I thought a 14lb cat longer than my torso was average size I don’t get out a lot

He’s also not fat that’s like his normal healthy weight he’s a big boy I got him as a stray kitten and had seen his mom who was a normal stray house cat in the neighborhood but I heavily believe dad was a Maine Coon that was some neighbors pet bc he looks like that and not mom
