Prosecutors say they faked visit records to bill more than $600K for care one client never got. The company drew about $48M from MaineCare since 2019. The Maine Wire was in their office in April. DHS ran California’s voter rolls against its citizenship database and flagged up to 190,000 names. Going through them one by one, it now believes up to 20,000 are confirmed non-citizens.

Two former FBI officials were charged today with lying to Congress about the Hunter Biden laptop investigation. Both helped run the bureau's Foreign Influence Task Force during the 2020 election.
One of them, Nikki Floris, told the House Judiciary Committee in July 2023 that she had no involvement in it. The day before she testified, @seamusbruner laid out on @TheDrillDown1 what the FBI was already denying: an agent in its California field office meeting regularly with Twitter's head of safety while Twitter pulled the New York Post's laptop story.
Chris Wray told Congress that same week the FBI doesn't push for censorship. Prosecutors now say two of his officials lied to Congress about their own roles. Floris's lawyers say she was falsely accused.
