This is heartbreaking. You can see why the death toll is going to be significant.
The official death toll from the train collision near Urda, Toledo, remains at least 10, according to Castilla-La Mancha government spokeswoman Esther Padilla on Spanish state television. Officials expect the toll to rise.
ABC's live blog cites Civil Protection as reporting at least 46 dead, but this figure has not been officially confirmed. There is still no official count of the injured.
