Armando Lujan of Sunray is having an historic season for the Bobcats, who play in the 2A DII State Semifinals Thursday against Albany…
Armando is 2nd in Texas High School Football history with 80 total Touchdowns in a season this year; two behind Former Levelland Lobo, Nick Gerber and two ahead of Arizona Cardinals’ starting quarterback, Kyler Murray!
Armando has 4,007 yards passing, 60 Passing TD’s, and 7 interceptions.
He also has 968 yards rushing(32 yards shy of 1k) and 20 Rushing Touchdowns
The List of Texas HS QB’s to throw for over 4,000 yards and rush for over 1,000 yards?!?!
Kyler Murray of Allen HS and Tyrik Rollinson of Sulphur Springs HS …End of list!
We are witnessing history in Texas High School Football..
Thanks to the Sunray Coaching Staff for the stats!
