Underhill Avenue appreciation 🧵. I bike this street weekly to get my kids to swim class but today I switched up my running route back from Prospect Park so that I could document the components that make this “Bike Boulevard” so safe and comfortable for walking/cycling.

I think most of our arguments about Daylight Saving Time would be helped if we called it “Morning Time” and “Evening Time”. We didn’t “lose” an hour of daylight, we needed to move it to the morning. In the summer, with abundant sunny hours, we’ll extend our evenings again.

I enjoy my city much more when I walk or bike through it. A week in Paris — where walking and biking has surged — just reinforced that. For me, it’s the joy of being around humans.
