Weird Al should buy his masters back, 80 million streams is roughly between $240,000 - $400,000, add in all the other streaming services and YouTube and his catalogue is still generating $500,000+ a year at minimum. Cry me a river.
A big problem with new artists not focusing on albums instead of singles, is that they won’t be able to play 10/15/20 anniversary full album shows over the next decades :(
