Contrary to these claims, the Convent and School of the Salvatorian Sisters in the #Yaroun was subjected to a deliberate bulldozing operation before noon on May 1, 2026, with full awareness of its nature as a religious & educational civilian institution.

Le couvent des sœurs Salvatoriennes à Yaroun dans le sud-Liban n’a pas était détruit, ni même touché.
Un bâtiment résidentiel en dehors du complexe religieux a été touché après qu’une enquête a conclu à son utilisation à des fins militaires, notamment pour des tirs de missiles.
L’opération s’inscrit dans le cadre des règles du droit international humanitaire, en vertu des articles 52 et 57 du Protocole additionnel I.
Toutes les mesures nécessaires ont été prises pour ne causer aucun dommage à tout bâtiment religieux.
J’appelle à la prudence alors qu’une propagande agressive est à l’œuvre. Tout responsable politique devrait vérifier les faits avant de condamner.
L’Etat d’Israël protège et respecte les lieux de culte de toutes les religions.
Il chérit ses relations privilégiées avec les communautés chrétiennes à travers le monde.
لم يسلم #وادي_زبقين من مختلف أشكال الاعتداءات التي تنفّذها قوات الاحتلال، من القصف الجوي والمدفعي إلى استخدام الفوسفور الأبيض والذخائر الحارقة والمتفجرة، في استهداف متواصل يهدّد بتدمير واسع النطاق لأحد أغنى المواقع بالتنوّع البيولوجي في جبل عامل، وما يحتضنه من غطاء حرجي كثيف
وموائل طبيعية للحياة البرية.
ورغم المطالبة بإعلانه محمية طبيعية منذ عام 2017، لا يزال هذا الموقع الاستثنائي ينتظر إقرار الحماية القانونية، في ظل تقاعس مزمن من وزارة البيئة عن استكمال الإجراءات اللازمة.
إن وقف اعتداءات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي على الوادي بات ضرورة ملحّة لتجنّب المزيد من الدمار البيئي، وحماية ما تبقّى من تراث طبيعي وتنوّع بيولوجي قد يستحيل تعويض خسارته.

إن إعداد خرائط رسمية ودقيقة للمحميات الطبيعية خطوة هامة، وإن كانت لا تعبّر، إذا جاز التعبير، عن أولوية بيئية أو حمائية في هذه المرحلة.

وإتاحة مراجعتها بصورة عامة وشفافة، وفتح مسار تشاوري يشارك فيه الخبراء والباحثون والمجموعات والمنظمات البيئية والجهات المحلية المعنية، قبل إحالتها مجدداً إلى مجلس الوزراء.
المطلوب تطوير مقترحات وقوانين لتعزيز الحماية وتوسيعها حيث تقتضي الضرورة الإيكولوجية،
