Carson Hocevar Fined $100K & Suspended After Martinsville Antics | GRID Rising Carson Hocevar's eventful afternoon at Martinsville came with major consequences. NASCAR fined Hocevar $100,000 and docked him 25 driver points, while Spire Motorsports suspended the No. 77 driver from the season finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway following his on-track actions with Austin Cindric. GRID Rising breaks down Hocevar's controversial Martinsville race, including the self-spin that drew immediate criticism from several NASCAR Cup Series competitors and the multiple brake checks that ultimately destroyed the nose of Cindric's No. 2 Penske Ford.
