One of the key takeaways from this mess is that the policy of conferences maintaining their own officiating crews is unjustifiable. It creates the appearance of a conflict of interest in every single non-conference game. The NCAA should centrally train and regulate officials.

The first former coach on the pod and we are coming up on the 40th anniversary of Wa-Griz, the timing couldn’t mean more.
Joe Glenn helped raise the money to build Wa-Griz, then came back and won a national championship inside it. You’ll also hear the special tie between Joe and current Griz coach Bobby Kennedy.
Now courageously battling dementia and Alzheimer’s, Joe still sits at the piano almost every day and plays the Griz fight song from memory. That’s the video. That’s Joe. The fire, the stories and his love for Montana are all still there.
