This week our group celebrated an (a bit early) Halloween Party with some excellent self-made food, fun activities and of course excellent, scary costumes.
Wishing you all a spooky Halloween.
Prof Guldi was honored to be chosen for the prestigious IOCF Zen-ichi Yoshida Lectureship focusing cutting-edge technologies in organic chemistry given by invited foreign researchers. One lectureship was held in Kyoto on 22 Oct, two more coming on 26 and 27 Oct in Osaka and Kobe.
As part of his current travels as part of his Invitational Fellowships award by @jsps_sns Prof Guldi is visiting several esteemed colleagues. We would like to thank the Professors Taku Hasobe (@KeioGlobal), @NobuhiroYanai (@UTokyo_News_en), Ryota Sakamoto (@TohokuUniPR), ...
... Yutaka Matuso (@NagoyaUniv), Ishizuka, Takeshi Akasaka and Takahiko Kojima (@UNIV_TSUKUBA_EN) as well as their respective groups for hosting Prof Guldi.
Some group members enjoying some Chettinad Indian delicacies. Thanks to Anjappar restaurant Nuremberg for a lovely evening and outstanding food! A perfect opportunity to welcome several new group members! Looking forward to new additions to our group, as we are currently hiring!
Congratulations to our member Dr. Tanmay Goswami @its_tanmay2328 on receiving Walter Benjamin Programme funding from @dfg_public! His postdoctoral research will explore charge transfer in 2D hybrid materials, aiming to improve charge separation and advance solar energy conversion
Prof Guldi presented “Materials for adaptive light management dynamic control over light capture, spectral down- and upconversion and energy storage” at IX Jornadas Ibéricas de Fotoquímica addressing novel strategies to circumvent intrinsic efficiency boundaries of photovoltaics
We congratulate Prof. Guldi on receiving the prestigious Invitational Fellowships award by @jsps_sns, highlighting his international research prestige as the award catalyzes elite scientific exchange bridging visionary global scholars with Japan’s prime institutions.
