Tell me you're a surgeon without telling me you're a surgeon

Why would access to journal articles matter? It’s a separate workspace in your current ChatGPT. It’s actually amazing

If your "metabolic health coach" is using the words "mogs," run away. Statins rule.
Vitamin K (K1, K2 both MK4/MK7) with adequate micronutrient/mineral intake and full spectrum sunlight absolutely mogs statins. I have clients that reversed aortic stenosis and improved CAC scores after decades of statin therapy

Other than yellow fever, which is transmitted by mosquitoes and not human-to-human, these are all bacterial infections. Now do viruses. You can't honestly downplay the importance of vaccines in the safe lives we get to lead today.

Cholera, typhoid fever, bubonic plaque, yellow fever, bacterial infections, malnutrition?

Don't understand the point of this terminology, really. Real question with an ECG is "To the cath lab now or not?" And the answer here is a resounding yes. Yesterday.
OMI or NOMI ?? 👀 CP started yesterday, now minimal ➡️ hs-troponin = 4,500 (see next for angio)

Hmmmmm, what could the difference possibly be between a patient under 60 who gets a TAVR vs a SAVR? Couldn't be that they're sicker! Naaaaaaaah. But we adjusted ... blah blah blah. Surgeons thinking like surgeons here.

Neither. Bypass. [throws up in mouth a little]
Which should be treated as distal main vessel? 🤔

I know the RCT evidence, but there is not a cardiologist on earth who is telling their 47yo brother to leave this alone and treat with meds. Can definitely have a reasonable discussion about the best method of revascularization, but that's it. Unless you hate your brother.
Ok, let us see who believes the guidelines and ORBITA/COURAGE/ISCHEMIA This 47 y old male , who had angina and later became asymptomatic on BB, aspirin and statin comes to you as a Cardiologist. Poll in next tweet…

You can do this through the groin, too. Smaller hole and everything.
On November 17th, cardiovascular and thoracic surgeon, @RPGallegosmd, and his team performed the first ever Aortic Valve Replacement using a sutureless valve in Nebraska! Congratulations on your outstanding accomplishment! 🎉 #CHIHealth #Hellohumankindness

Quick guys put on your short little white coats that you never actually wear for this photo. 3rd guy: I will not
We just performed the first aortic valve repair at the MGH using the HAART rigid annuloplasty ring for a young man with a forme fruste bicuspid valve with “swiss cheese” leaflets. Thanks to these master surgeons, Drs. Sundt and Rankin for being there to support this endeavor.

Not that pretty, not that smart, motivated to remain a boomer, too involved in maintaining the status quo and not smiling because he's getting ratio'd like woah. Time to pack it up, old man.
