Apropos of nothing, here’s a list of the types of agency people. They’re in every agency. You work with them, don’t you? Who have I missed? Tag your colleagues 👀🙂 #agency #advertising #media #agencypeople

So, basically, 500 million Europeans expect 300 million Americans to protect them from 120 million Russians who can’t even defeat 40 million Ukrainians while those 500 million Europeans don’t even realize they are being conquered by 2 billion Muslims who claim they are being persecuted by 8 million Israelis. Is that about right?

I kid you not, British people see someone earning £100K the same way an American would see someone earning $1m .

Around 52,700 companies have entered insolvency in England and Wales since Labour came to power in July 2024.
This is unsustainable.
Government implements anti growth policies such as ENICs & Minimum wage rises, Net Zero driven highest energy prices in the world.
Blames businesses for going bust.
NEVER LET LABOUR IN
Poundland has filed to enter administration, putting 11,000 jobs at risk just weeks before Christmas, including here in Brixton.
I stand with Poundland workers and @UsdawUnion.
The owners must engage with workers and ministers, exploring every option to save jobs and shops.
Yes, it tells us that people are fucking morons
New post: that more people have paid attention to Burnham's announcement on the banning of loudspeaker music on public transport than any of the conference speeches Keir Starmer gave tells you a lot about how receptive voters have been to our new PM:

Thank goodness it was only a cyclist and not a human.
🚨JUST IN: Road-rage driver who left cyclist with fractured skull and brain injury spared jail.
• Joseph Hedley, 39, from Kirkcaldy, Fife, has avoided prison after violently attacking cyclist Iain Brown, 34, in Edinburgh.
• The incident happened on Cowgate on 20 September 2024. Hedley grabbed Brown by the throat and threw him to the ground, causing his head to strike the road.
• Brown suffered a fractured skull, a traumatic brain injury and bleeding on the brain. His injuries were considered potentially life-threatening.
• He later pleaded guilty to assaulting Brown to his severe injury, permanent impairment and to the danger of his life.
• Edinburgh Sheriff Court imposed a two-year supervision order instead of a prison sentence, with the sheriff saying the decision was made “by the narrowest of margins”.
• Hedley must wear an electronic tag and remain at home between 7pm and 7am for 12 months.
• His lawyer claimed the attack took place after the cyclist had shouted abuse and had shone a safety light into his car causing a passenger to have a seizure.
Imagine your only argument against people who don’t want mass uncontrolled immigration and an erasure of their culture being ‘no more kebabs’ 🤣.

This year alone, more Christians have been killed by Muslims in Nigeria than Gazans in three years of war.
Not a single Muslim or pro-Palestinian activist has protested like they do for Gaza. Weird.

In my haste I wasn’t clear on the most pernicious bit of this.
“…and thinking that forcing small businesses to give unskilled people more money…”
We are truly fucked.
Imagine looking at the current circumstances and thinking that giving unskilled people more money for no change in their productivity was the answer. 🤦🏻♂️
The algorithm on here is wild. Asked people for watch advice - got a million reactions. As people for pub advice… crickets
I asked ChatGPT for the best country pubs, in villages, in London. This was the list it gave. Apart from laughing at loud at the thought of Guinness Disneyland being there, I don’t really agree with many of the others either. What’s on your list of London, village, country pubs?
‘Karen’ is absolutely right.
Just watched this video of a Karen on a regular bike chase down an e-bike rider and lecture him for a full minute about how “full electric bikes aren’t allowed on the paths” and how “you people piss me off.”
These obnoxious cyclists are the absolute worst—zero self-awareness, maximum entitlement, following strangers just to scold them.
But the e-bike guy isn’t blameless either. A lot of these fat-tire e-bikes are ripping 25-35 mph on shared paths, treating them like their personal racetrack. Both sides suck: the Karens who police every pedal and the e-bike riders who treat multi-use paths like a freeway.
If your whole personality is either gatekeeping bike paths or blasting past people at car speeds with no regard, you’re ruining it for everyone.
To the comments….
Had a hour conversation with my mum who could not comprehend that you need a visa to come work/live and or study in the U.K. from France. Yep that’s what #Brexit does to you
We fucking told you.
The Laffer Curve strikes again. Rachel Reeves’s absurd increases to stamp duty have backfired after tax receipts from property sales above £5m fell by £541m in the 18 months following her 2024 budget when she raised the second-home stamp duty surcharge to 5%.
Data from estate agents Knight Frank show that in the 18 months subsequent to the budget, the number of sales above £5m dropped by 14% from 2,569 to 2,208, when compared with the 18 months before the budget. Of course it is not just the stamp duty that is lost but also the economic activity that accompanies the property transactions.
Reeves has just signed up to the Chartwell Speakers agency to sell speeches for money. Surely for anyone to buy a speech from her is a badge of idiocy?
