Thought for the day!
Oh my daughter I love you so
I wish the anxiety would just go,
When it blows
Your bright spark goes,
If only we could keep it low
It is amazing to see you grow,
You and Sparrow keep us strong
Hopefully we will all live healthy and long,
I love you

This is sinister. This place is warped.
@grok is calling for the BBC to be defunded and calling GBNews impartial.
This is very dark and very dangerous.

I remember the old days:
When we used to instruct children and staff with contagious illness to stay off school, to avoid spreading it.
When we encouraged poorly children to rest and recover at home.
When we sympathised with people who were unwell.
We called it "care".

The richest 3 people have more money than the poorest 4 billion.
But the problem (according to those richest people) is the poor people.

My children are not on the autism spectrum because I took Tylenol while pregnant. They’re on the autism spectrum because I, a person who will wear only one type of shoe and can’t eat food that is “too potato-y,” had babies with a man who has an encyclopedic knowledge of European aristocracy but a limited ability to process social cues.

They want to leave the ECHR because it will allow them to abolish the State Pension, the Minimum Wage, paid holiday and sick leave.
It would make them tens of billions a year.
But of course they say immigration, because they can't tell you the real reason.

When experts warned Brexit would cost Britain billions, Farage claimed they were paid to say so.
Now the bill’s due: £40 billion a year lost, and families £1,429 poorer, proving some truths aren’t for sale.

#TeamSEND is it usual with SEND school transport (minibus) to have 5 drivers in under 3 weeks? Also driver not knowing where to go, dropping child at wrong house, jumping red light, leaving the bus without the handbrake on with bus starting to role off, all on the first day!

Tell what’s counterproductive:
100% attendance targets
Intrusive home visits
Demanding to see kids alone in their bedrooms
Threatening to fine or prosecute parents
Placing CYPs in isolation
Zero tolerance policies
Delaying holistic needs assessments
Conditional time limited ‘support’

"You can't physically chuck a 13-year-old over a school gate and say: ‘Go on, get in.’"
Actor Anna Maxwell Martin, who's navigated the SEND system as a parent, tells #R4Today that attitude is just as important as funding to help support children with special educational needs.

They’ve made the environment a hell hole and will continue to stoke hells fire with the appointments of Bennett et al.

ITV's FOI found that 472 children left Ark Alexandra early, over the past three years, of which 28% had SEND. And, extraordinarily I think, 39% left for home education.

In 3 years 472 pupils left "before the scheduled end of their time at the school." 28% had SEND; 39% had no alternative school to go to. All this is bad enough but I really hope it's not true staff were expected to issue 25 detentions each, every week. share.google/WmYCVRQtLO0ukJK…
