#OnThisDay in 2017, we awarded search and rescue dog Bryn the #PDSAOrderofMerit ๐
Bryn worked alongside @CheshireFire, he was deployed to building collapses, missing personsโ searches and gas explosions.
Sadly, in 2019 Bryn passed away ๐ฅโค๏ธ
Let's celebrate this pawsome pooch ๐

Fire stations across @CheshireFire are either staffed or equipped with an emergency telephone that will put you through to the control room. Everybody has the right to feel safe, if ever you need a #safespace you will always be welcome to visit or pick up the emergency telephone.

I thought my number was up last night! Attempted to pull this vehicle over to the hard shoulder and the driver decided to stop in lane 3! If an emergency vehicle with blue lights is behind you, move to the left and they will either pass you or follow you onto the hard shoulder.

The main contractors have now completed the development of our new state of the art training centre in Winsford.
Our trainers will now begin to familiarise within these environments to test scenarios prior to going live early next year.
Aaron,
not seen much of you due to C-19, thanks for all your help over the last few years. A very professional, and knowledgeable officer, with a real interest in people and building professional relationships. Everyone holds you in such high regard, itโs clear why. Best wishes
It is often said in policing that you are just a number well I have been lucky enough to have had three numbers working in @nottspolice @gmpolice & @cheshirepolice. Itโs my final day at work today before retiring from policing in a few weeks time. I will miss the fantastic people

Testing is well underway at our new training centre. This shows a roof fire at a terraced house, just one of the scenarios that would be faced by our firefighters during training.

If you see large quantities of rubbish being piled up in a public area or a dangerous unlit bonfire please report it to your local council.

If you leave your mobile phone, laptop, tablet or e-cigarette charging overnight, you could wake up to a fire.
Play it safe and leave them unplugged!

Our thoughts are with the officer's family, friends and our colleagues at the Metropolitan Police.
One of our police officers has sadly died after being shot by a man who was being detained in police custody in early this morning in Croydon.
Officers are in the process of informing members of the officerโs family.
