Let international journalists into Gaza to find out how ‘moral’ you’ve really been, or pipe down with the journalism lectures.
Replying to @piersmorgan
Spread lies, get called out and then try to change the topic. Quite the journalist you are. How about you take a look at the evidence then get back to us? idf.il/en/mini-sites/the-pre…

"Prompt: When making bookings on my behalf, always stress that it is my birthday"
Instinct CEO Noah Shinn says agents will let restaurants give tables to birthdays and anniversaries over whoever clicks first "And traditionally, because of the way that the internet has worked, at least for reservations, it's been first come first serve. So anyone that comes in, no matter how important or how not important it might be, whoever gets in first gets the reservation." "But what if you had the ability for the agent to be able to communicate on both sides, communicate, hey, this is important. This is actually the person's spouse's birthday, the 30th birthday, a very special event is coming up." "And the restaurant too can say, let's actually prioritize birthdays or major decade birthdays or major anniversaries or these certain people, I don't know, whatever it might be, right?" "So now with the ability, with all of the logistical burden of having to describe exactly what your case is and what's happening and why it's important. Now we have the ability to perfectly match what does the restaurant want? What does the user want?" "And that will result in more special events for the users being able to actually have a spot in the restaurant."

A small group of researchers at a closed lab should not have this enormous responsibility for the lives of ~8B people
Jacob is correct here—we really do earnestly believe AI could kill all humans! I personally think it is >10% within the next decade. I believe Anthropic is trying its best, but we do not yet have a plan to solve alignment for superintelligence and are not clearly on track to.

Beautiful!
You can just RL a coding model to paint with javascript btw

watching this I struggle to see how the US catches up in robotics with venture capital alone It'll require an industrialisation effort at near-wartime scale and even then it is unlikely

It has never been so easy to produce exceptional software. It has never been so easy to produce slop

the thing about skills, even well-written ones, is that you lose some of the model's own intuition and nuance on how to approach a problem. Everything it will do, will go through this 'encoded' playbook, when sometimes that's not the right approach.

I find this becomes a bigger issue in longer running tasks. with lots of context compaction, the model loses some of the intent in the initial scope and then a skill that is meant to enforce good code, ends up enforcing un-needed complexity.

As the model continually re-invokes the skill, re-reading playbooks, and applying them over and over through compaction, this can actually start to invoke something more like "rigorous slop". Sure, the model is being forced to reason more about choices and tradeoffs, but it'll start to miss the forest from the trees.

Takes like this are so easy to throw out for engagement. Is it the very best model? No. But it’s not a bad one either. Google still has all the ingredients to catch up, and I think they will.
honestly i would never ever drop this model like it’s embarrassing
