The U.S. will not support partnerships that undermine the protection of children, the family, or national sovereignty, including through SDG-aligned “soft governance” mechanisms.

Every warrior will be given the opportunity to vote.
From a small coalition to a global movement, momentum for the Geneva Consensus Declaration continues to grow. This #UNGA side event showed how far we’ve come. Grateful to Lisa @FridayFax and our partners at Civil Society for the Geneva Consensus Declaration for making it possible

“We are not here to speak for sovereign nations. We are here to help sovereign nations speak together.”
Powerful words from Director Kozma as she outlined the next chapter of the Geneva Consensus Declaration at last week’s UN side event.
Thank you Under Secretary Veprek and Assistant Secretary Barnes for supporting us in hosting this event. Proud to stand alongside our partners in this historic moment and expand our reach and impact at the UN. #UNGA81
For the first time ever, the United States hosted a Geneva Consensus Declaration (GCD) event during High-level Week at #UNGA81. We’re proud to assume the GCD Secretariat and will carry this work forward through a whole-of-government effort led by @USDeptHHS. Established in 2020, the Geneva Consensus Declaration, led by the United States, began as a joint initiative with a few like-minded countries. The Declaration has four main objectives: to secure meaningful health and development gains for women; to protect life at all stages; to defend the family as the fundamental unit of society; and to work together across the @UN system to realize these values.
Our deepest appreciation to Argentina, Egypt, and Hungary for reaffirming your commitments and sharing your perspectives during this week’s Geneva Consensus Declaration event at #UNGA.
Our partnership with Argentina is stronger than ever and the Geneva Consensus Declaration remains a top priority for our nations. Thank you, Secretary Agustin Caulo @caulo_agustin for your commitment and participation.
