Replying to @GWRHelp
@GWRHelp I used GWR for the first time with a bike and your system is utterly awful. @WeAreCyclingUK
1) You’re never told you need to book a bike space when buying a ticket (at least through trainline)
2) You need to call to make a booking (took 15mins on the phone)
6) We were on a cycling trip so didn’t know exactly train we were getting so couldn’t book. When we got there there were no bookable bike spaces for the whole rest of the day. So had to chance it. The first train we got on we got kicked off as there were too many bikes on there.
Anyone selling a @DulwichHamletFC ticket for today? Girlfriend forgot to buy one.. #DHFC
Cycled past a pretty horrific accident on CS7 in Balham. Looked to be a cyclist covered in blood being attended to by paramedics. The wands can only do so much and this stretch is one of the least protected bits. We need full protection @willnorman @Jo_Earlsfield @London_Cycling
Had it confirmed via @BarneyDavisES (via LAS) that it was a cyclist and they were taken to a major trauma unit. Fingers crossed as paramedics on the scene quick.
@wandscycling - and this is still “relatively” one of the most protected bits of the Borough, no thanks to the campaigns of @Wandsworth against CS7 and other schemes
Great one @wandbc - Fair enough by DfT given all the LTNs were ripped out early.

Here we are at Day 1 of no LTNs in Tooting. Great to see the removal of the planters has had a really positive impact on traffic flow and pollution from idling 👌
Day 2 - The roads have well and truly been reopened. Thanks @wandbc it’s just so much easier to get around Tooting by car now the LTNs have been removed.
Day 3 and the first day since the LTNs were removed with kids back at school. Big thanks once again to @JohnLocker_UK & @wandsworth for immediately improving traffic flow and reducing pollution in Tooting. I for sure would want my kid walking along these empty streets.
