They spoke of pure comparison (between Allah & His creation), 𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐡𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐝𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 & 𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐆𝐨𝐝 (𝐇𝐚𝐝𝐝), & interpreted the words mentioned in the Hadith literally, asserting a specific mode of being (how-ness) for them. They also took some problematic Hadiths at face value”.

This is my first official month going to Jummah prayer every week!
I grew up Catholic in Brooklyn/Staten Island, NYC.
Friday meant nothing holy.
Just another day.
Now Friday is the day I celebrate Allah.
Same city. Different perspective.
