4. Ask 'based on what you know about me, what workflows could this open model replace?'
5. Have Hermes walk you through downloading the model in LM Studio and setting up the API
6. Ask Hermes to start using the new API

When did we reinvent 'climate' as the world's latest ideological issue? When did we stop looking at the joyful storybook of the Earth or into its ocean depths?
Our modern, high-speed information culture has become 'decoupled' from the slow-motion reality of this blue-green world. That is the real tragedy of a recent species that now lives its life in 'internet time' (seconds and hits) while the ancient world that sustains it operates in 'oceanic time' (over centuries and millennial cycles).
Today's approach treats the atmosphere as if by some magic it has become the Earth's driving force. But the gauze thin film of the atmosphere is just a 'light breeze' compared with the might and power of deep ocean currents, which carry tropical heat to unfreeze the frigid Northern Hemisphere. We are obsessed with a trace gas and the weather drama of the week, ignoring the measured, meaningful signals from the ocean abyss.
Nature doesn't live in a global average. Even a sparrow experiences the world through its local woodlands, seasonal rains and ancient territory. By focusing on a climate spreadsheet we have lost connection with the natural world. We have traded the sights and songs nature as click bait about some computer model.

There is a great misconception about rising CO₂ levels at the heart of global warming.
Doubling CO₂ levels from 400 ppm to 800 ppm retains the exact same incremental amount of longwave radiation as doubling it from 200 ppm to 400 ppm did—even though the actual volume of CO₂ added has doubled.
This reduction in the rate of heat retention continues to fall along a sliding scale of a logarithmic curve; no matter how much the global level of CO₂ increases, it's effects continue to fall by half.
The atmosphere gets a bit warmer as CO₂ increases, but not nearly as much as before. As CO₂ levels increase, warming slows down dramatically, and continue to drop. This means forecasts of runaway warming from CO₂ alone is not only improbable, it is impossible.
This occurs because the primary absorption bands for CO₂ (centered around the 15-micrometer wavelength) are already heavily saturated. This saturation effect begins at 100 ppm. Each incremental increase in atmospheric CO₂ traps less escaping longwave radiation than the preceding unit.
What this means is that as atmospheric CO₂ increases, it absorbs less and less escaping longwave radiation. The effects of more CO₂ fall away sharply.
The global warming narrative as shaped and presented by a United Nations-led collective of investors, asset managers, and political figures, neglects to tell you this.
The UN has never clearly explained how the effects of higher CO₂ will continue falling along this predictable logarithmic curve. As CO₂ levels rise, the rate of temperature increase falls and slows down dramatically.
The bureaucratic mechanisms being used are based on things like levels of carbon taxes, the amount of subsidies being paid to install wind and solar installations and land-use restrictions. These are all being justified using simplified catastrophic projections, they ignore the natural stabilising buffers built into Earth’s physics and biology.
The Earth system does not behave like an uncontrolled runaway machine. It behaves exactly like a complex, heavily buffered dynamic planetary equilibrium should. It is entirely dominated by this logarithmic decline in the rate of warming and the powerful role of biological feedback loops.
Revisiting the empirical realities of vast levels of terrestrial greening and CO₂ radiative saturation levels does not mean ignoring environmental stewardship. Instead, it exposes the deliberate disconnect between real physical science and the economic and political mandates designed to manage it. The primary driver is funding it and market it as part of a vast new economy based on a transitionto intermittent renewable energy.
This staggering cost of $9.2 trillion every year represents roughly 9% of total global GDP—with the cumulative $275 trillion price tag amounting to nearly 2.5 times the total annual output of the entire planet.

I hope everyone will read Dave Ramsey’s comments about going cashless. It’s a two minute read. No one has explained it better. He brings up several situations I'd never considered.

A cashless society means no cash. Zero. It doesn’t mean mostly cashless and you can still use a ‘wee bit of cash here & there’. Cashless means fully digital, fully traceable, fully controlled. I think those who support a cashless society aren’t fully aware of what they are asking for. A cashless society means:
* If you are struggling with your mortgage on a particular month, you can’t do an odd job to get you through.
* Your child can’t go & help the local farmer to earn a bit of summer cash.
* No more cash slipped into the hands of a child as a good luck charm or from their grandparent when going on holidays.
* No more money in birthday cards.
* No more piggy banks for your child to collect pocket money & to learn about the value of earning.

* No more charity collections.
* No more selling bits & pieces from your home that you no longer want/need for a bit of cash in return.

What a cashless society does guarantee:
* Banks have full control of every single penny you own.
* Every transaction you make is recorded.
* All your movements & actions are traceable.
* Access to your money can be blocked at the click of a button when/if banks need ‘clarification’ from you which will take about 3 weeks, a thousand questions answered & five thousand passwords.
* You will have no choice but to declare & be taxed on every dollar in your possession.
* The government WILL decide what you can & cannot purchase.
* If your transactions are deemed in any way questionable, by those who create the questions, your money will be frozen, ‘for your own good’.
Forget about cash being dirty. Stop being so easily led. Cash has been around for a very, very, very long time & it gives you control over how you trade with the world. It gives you independence.
If you are a customer, pay with cash. If you are a shop owner, remove those ridiculous signs that ask people to pay by card. Cash is a legal tender, it is our right to pay with cash. Banks are making it increasingly difficult to lodge cash.
Please open your eyes. Please stop believing everything you are being told. Almost every single topic in today’s world is tainted with corruption & hidden agendas.
Pay with cash & please say no to a cashless society while you still have the choice.

Let's just call what this "harm reduction" thing what it is:
It's a genocide.
I lived on the street for 8 years. Hitchhiked all over the US, slept in big sprawling bum camps all over, including Seattle.
State agencies hand out paraphernalia and money to anyone who wants them. Camping is decriminalized. "Quality of life" measures are de-emphasized. Hard drugs are de-facto legal. I even suspect that some of the members of local and state governments responsible for these disastrous policies may be in cahoots with major drug traffickers.
The unstated goal appears to be to create dense "zones" where society's undesirables can go to commit mass suicide with these drugs. It's not just the mentally ill, it's also veterans, dissidents, and large contingents of society's strongest and most maladjusted individuals; many of whom would have, without the drugs, been political rabble-rousers of a most inconvenient type.
An army of "true believer" do-gooder liberal social worker types hand out the needles to them all with a smile. They dole out cash benefits knowing that they'll be spent on drugs, and knowing that women will prostitute themselves for those cash and EBT cards. They read whatever far-left sociology crap they've got to read to convince themselves that they're doing something genuinely benevolent.
Ten years ago I knew tons of "crust punk" traveling types for whom the phrase "going to San Francisco" was a euphemism for killing themselves. Because everyone knew you could go to SF, get huge cash benefits, free needles, cheap drugs, legal camping, never get arrested for literally anything -- and you could just slip into addiction until you finally ODed.
It wasn't a joke. Many people I knew and had met actually went there and did exactly that, and are now dead.
Those pushing this "harm reduction" garbage are culpable in their deaths. Those who rabidly work to defend the "harm reduction" infrastructure, and who persecute those who call it out, go against it, or interrupt it are also culpable.
Those at the top know exactly what they are doing, it is deliberate, and it is a eugenics program designed to cull the most undesirable, problematic contingent of American society. Many of them also profit handsomely, both in dollars and in votes. As I said, I think many of them are also cartel-connected, China-connected, etc.
Turns out that old-fashioned "law and order" policing is actually BENEVOLENT and MERCIFUL to a great majority of addicts, mentally ill, chronically homeless, and so on. Saying "here's a cash card and free needles" is actually the cruelest, most evil thing you could do for them, and shame on the progressive do-gooders who act naive about this and think otherwise.

I’m sick of pretending this is a functioning country with a functioning government.
Congress is not “divided.” It’s not “gridlocked.” It’s not “just politics.” It is a criminal class of 535 people who have spent decades selling this country piece by piece while lecturing the rest of us about democracy, values, and the rule of law.
They pass spending bills they don’t read. They pile debt on people who weren’t even born yet. They take money from foreign interests, lobbyists, PACs, and industries they regulate, then act shocked when anyone calls it what it is: influence-peddling.
They protect their own. They investigate their enemies. They never investigate themselves with the same hunger.
The worst part isn’t even the money. It’s the moral rot. A government that can lecture parents, churches, and working people about morality while shielding predators, burying files, redacting names, and treating elite sex-crime networks like a scheduling inconvenience has no moral authority left. If the same evidence, the same flight logs, the same sealed names, and the same “we can’t comment” stonewalling applied to anyone outside their class, those people would already be in prison. For this crowd, it becomes “complicated,” “ongoing,” or “not the right time.”
Foreign interference isn’t some abstract threat they discovered last week. It’s a business model. They take the money, take the trips, take the talking points, then wrap themselves in the flag and tell you anyone who notices is a conspiracy theorist.
They will fight harder to protect their donors and their secrets than they will fight to protect the border, the budget, or the people who actually pay for all of it.
I don’t hate “government” as an idea. I hate this government, the one that treats citizens like a revenue stream, treats accountability like an attack, and treats the most disgusting crimes as a club you only get punished for if you’re not connected.
No more polite language.
No more “both sides” anesthesia. If Congress had a shred of honor left, they would open every sealed file, name every protector, cut the foreign cash pipelines, and submit themselves to the same laws they impose on everyone else. They won’t. That’s the point.
They are not public servants. They are a protected class. And the country is rotting under them.
