the timeline at the end of the month is always ragebait there are the winners. you see pnl's of six figs, some even seven. they come from different terminals, social trading apps. (some from devving/bundling apps 😭) you end up asking yourself "wow did i miss that many runners?" or the occasional thought of "damn i rly underperformed..." but then there are the losers too. oftentimes, they are nowhere to be found... especially on crypto twitter. but trust me, they are always there. this is a market at the end of the day. the money has to go from person A to person B. naturally, there are winners and losers. so behind every "underperformed this month but +500k" post you see there are newbie accounts getting rinsed of their monthly paychecks. or the normie trader who just likes to buy whatever memecoin his favorite trader is buying. but don't get me wrong, the winners are not to be blamed. every edge possible is exploited in this market and we are taught that game is simply game. but one thing is for sure: we only see the PnLs of the winners, never the losers. ... then there is you. maybe you had a shit month and you're questioning how people are even making money in these market conditions or maybe you had an above average month but you will still be questioning "how the hell did that guy make 1.2m this month" while i made every possible correct decision and only ended +50k? for the record, my october started with a -250k. that's the pnl card you never see in the end-of-month posts. remember the winners are inflated and the losers are invisible. @jords recently said something along the lines of you could have been more rich but you also could have been more poor it's easy to get lost in the endless pit of pnl's on the timeline and compare everyone's progress with your own. but what's beautiful about the monthly pnl is that it resets it will always reset so as we approach the first day of the coming month if you have lost,, forget about last month. you can enter this one with a clean slate. and have the opportunity to join the winners club. and if you have won.. well, you have to earn it again. last month doesn't count anymore. many r saying that maybe its time to log off but i can feel it like genuinely i can feel the leaks in my trading psychology like they are cracks in my skull but i can also feel that i am so close to a breakthrough i am not stupid i know what i'm doing wrong i don't think markets are random i've been doing this long enough also to know what to buy and not buy what risks to take and when to take the i think i'm close to a breakthrough kill the bad habits, string a couple wins together and build momentum i am a trader that has about his own mental and psychology i will be vigilant abt it. eternally vigilant and concious i will conquer my own urges and see things clearly for what they are i am awake
