Generating a city in Blender takes about 30 seconds now. iCity builds roads, towers, parks and traffic procedurally — aimed at driving sims, city flythroughs and archviz context.

Ironically alot of artists rely on tech that was once seen as cheating or cheesing the proccess. Ive gotten so much shit for using a motion capture suit lol
A lot of people don’t actually hate AI-generated content. They hate that the barrier separating them from everyone else is disappearing. When creating software required years of training, being a programmer gave you status. When producing beautiful images required years of practice, being an artist gave you status. Now someone with no formal training can produce things that previously required entire teams. And suddenly we’re having a moral crisis about who deserves to create. The real controversy isn’t that AI makes creation easier. It’s that millions of people are losing their monopoly on being considered talented.

Everyone talks about AI replacing artists. Nobody talks about the people it turned into artists. People who had stories in their head for years but never the hands, the time, or the money for school. That's not the end of art. That's more of it.

My Halo on ps2
The physics and destruction in Metal Arms (2003) were so ahead of its time. Blow off a Mil bot's arm, watch it panic, or just take control of it entirely. Legendary.

You can pay a real vector artist, logo designer, SFX designer, UI designer, 3D modeler etc For all original assets And someone will still call your game "Ai slop" lmao

Also considering most if not all modern programs have a type of learned behavior or prediction in it, this is a new step for it.
Unpopular Opinion: the people who say "AI isn't real art" are usually the ones who never tried to make something good with it. It's easy to make slop. It's hard to make something people stop scrolling for. Agree or disagree?

3D animation is getting easier 6 Cascadeur updates you might have missed: real-time rendering, Unreal Engine Live Link, motion generation, Easing, Animation Layers, and Collision Penetration Cleaning. Another update is on the way. What should we add next? ↓

This is a perfect example of a human and AI working together to make a game. Ignore the anti-AI crowd and just keep building. Really hope this turns into an awesome game in the end!
I did some world building for this game. I have no idea what this game will end up becoming, but I'm enjoying the journey so far. I'm just letting my imagination take me along for the ride. I do know it's probably going to be about souls trapped in physical vessels and its up to you to free them. Vibe coded on @kaigen3d engine.

Yeah frankly it's always about how you use the tools. Alot of artists use AI procedural tools for years anyway - remember when Photoshop first released? Motion capture?
I don’t give a fuck if people are offended lol I love AI It basically just replaces hours and hours of menial labor, heavy research etc Gives so much freedom and time back to actually pursue exciting things with a 24/7 assistant helping you daily

Artists will win the AI thing imo - perhaps new ones will and renewed interest for certain tech. Games are about to reach a whole new level in my opinion.
“Just learn to draw" assumes everyone wants the same thing from art. Some people want to draw. Some want to tell a story they've had in their head for 20 years and never could. Both are allowed to make things.

Our launch has been incredible so far, and the response from the community has been amazing! - Inspired by MMO classics - 100 Player Servers, Co-op, or Solo - No Microtransactions Our introductory price that steam allows us to setup with launch ends soon, so there aren't going to be many better times to hop in!

Hey @grok, if AI replaces millions of jobs over the next 5 years, how will people pay their rent, mortgages, and groceries?

I’ve been working on air support in Ebbtide. Here’s a closer look at the aircraft, their roles, and the choices you make when calling them in. • F-35: Air-to-ground missile strikes. • F-15: Large-scale bombing. • F/A-18: A versatile all-rounder. • A-10: Close air support, with more improvements in this update. The AC-130 and MQ-9 are in action too. I’ve also included a look at changing loadouts aboard the carrier and using napalm against the hordes. You can pause to plan your attacks, then resume the action or speed things up to 4x. Which aircraft would you call in first? Early development footage. #indiegame #gamedev
