The fear mongering continues.
My biggest concern is that if there is a clean sweep by Democrats of the House, Senate and Presidency in 2028, they will:
1. Make DC and Puerto Rico states to gain a strong majority in the Senate.
2. Open the borders and legalize everyone living in America illegally to cement a permanent majority.
3. Increase the size of the Supreme Court to gain an immediate majority.
This would result in America becoming a permanent one-party state and the end of democracy in any meaningful sense of the word.
All that is needed to ensure this doesn’t happen is 51 Republican senators in 2029. That is why you should vote for Republican senators this election. Other reasons are irrelevant compared to this one.

My favorite tweet as of recent was a guy who said: "The moat is the dawg I have in me".
And its stuck with me.

I love how the entire design community stopped with their internal drama and came together to say no Mr. Storonsky, design was never been about being faster.
The same people who want faster never cared about design and they’re probably not shipping good solutions.
Now of course common sense here means spend your time where it matters not debating small things that aren’t bringing value to your users. But if you’re not spending the time understanding your users problems, you’re just really designing for yourself.
more design thinking > faster screens
“3 to 4x faster” is the wrong thing to be proud of. If the win is that designers make screens faster, you’ve sped up the part that was never the problem. I don't think moving off Figma makes anyone a better designer. Pointing an LLM at your UI kit just gets you a screen that looks like your product, rendered quicker.
The hard part of designing a product isn’t the happy path. It’s knowing your customers and your business. All the research, all the states the product can be in, how it behaves in each one. Our prototypes are code first, so they run on that context in the same code we ship.
At @mercury we use the time we get back differently. It goes into exploring more directions, pressure testing them against real customer insights, and iterating on the details until they feel right. That extra time is spent on more revs and it’s how we keep our craft bar as high as it is.

figma plugin turning design frames into working React code with live preview.
why builders should care: export clean JSX straight from Figma without manual CSS layout.
Growth (for me) in October means I stopped trying new agents every other day. I don't even know what agents are in screens 1 and 3.
Grateful for people like @clairevo that can be our testers and filter through the noise, so I can focus on 💩 posting.
Transaction exports for a CRM with a Fitness Gym I am working with kept failing closed on date verification. And man these CRMs are so bad. CAn't wait until someone vibe codes better ones for these small businesses.
Insight stuff @JamesonCamp ! Supplementing my current setup with this
