Finally broke 100 in a golf tournament. Could have been even better if not for daring choices on 17! Still a fun round and now next goal of breaking 90!
My golf game in HC tournaments is horrendous. Done with the tournament, played the same hole again with an easy par instead of a triple bogey with the best drive of the day.
The current discourse in Germany made me realise that my kids will never be considered “real” Germans by a part of the population. Only option is to rise above!
Trying to get long golf pants for the boys - how difficult is that in Germany? Cannot believe that hardly any online shop has it or very limited selection. On the US sites, it is so easily available.
Germany’s model is rotten with small narcissist campaigns on all levels; from clubs to schools to politics. Competent people who consider active engagement are discouraged and mediocrity remains!
You have headhunters, you have LinkedIn and ads, I hired my people on bars, on the street and during chit chats at events! Not everything needs to go the conventional way…
I find it amazing that people can be so obsessed about money but don’t even blink an eye when they walk by millions. A car turns heads, a Jaume Plensa in Bordeaux not - same for a Calder in Stuttgart or a Balkenhol in Singen…
Today’s experience at Cabot Bordeaux Les Vignes was not good. I understand that there is a draught, however the Chateau course is in perfect condition and this one not. The “green” fee is the same, while there is no green left on the fairways
Today I played a round at Golf de Moliets - course was outstanding but fairways could have been in better shape. First 9 holes, I needed to warm up the driver but shot a 44 on the back, which is good for me!
Finished Golf de Chiberta today with a round of 92 incl 2 birdies, a lot of bad decisions but the driver becoming more stable! Still had a blast - new course tomorrow.
Is Golf in France less competitive? Definitely seems that way or I am at the wrong places. I enjoy the golf but even on the course, it seems to be more about savoir vivre than a sport.
Last and biggest install - your influence was enormous!

And I thought X was bad. Comments on FB under an article since a former German politician has a new Asian partner. Do people realise when they post racist stuff or do they just don't care anymore?
The better the player is with whom I am playing golf, the worse I am playing. Trying to keep up instead of playing my game!
