Building REST API’s into Android. Not exactly common but works fine. Most of the stuff is accessible for system binaries and all that is not can be done via JNI. It seems like I might be able to make @TeslaAndroid Wi-Fi network show up a good 10s quicker by moving some things to C++ and using a system service. It launches way faster than the Settings app where I currently handle this. I tested this a while ago, the webserver, virtual display, virtual touchscreen and the modem initializer are ready to go much faster
