The only conspiracy theory on planet earth that I sort of believe is that there’s more to the Ohtani gambling story than we’ll ever actually know.. The entire thing basically comes down to Ohtani being oblivious that his best friend in the world was stealing money, gambling it and dealing with the bookie completely on his own without Shohei knowing at all. And I just don’t believe that. Doesn’t seem like the most likely scenario.
