We all have our first location of starting public service. Watauga County is the location of Boone Fire and home of ASU. Prayers for all these agencies and personnel involved. Special place to know! #wataugasheriff

Great story on how COVID has affected our work lives and family life from on of our Captains. Remember to always check on your folks especially during quarantines of members. Be “A” Chief not just “The” Chief. #teamwork #firefamily

When an incident allows, take some time to just watch. Don’t watch to scrutinize or critique but to see the wonderment of a successful incident and you will also be quickly reminded of why you first signed up to do this job we call Firefighter.

Today’s Departments are doing more with less, having only 1 Department PIO can be a challenge. Hats off to all the 1 man/woman shows out there!

Our thoughts are with @millersferry today as several of our full time firefighters serve as their as officers and part time firefighters. Remember the #moveover law, slow down approaching incidents and pull over. Stay safe!! #HarrisburgFire

Such an incredibly tragic accident. @DukeEnergy works so hard restoring our power that we sometimes overlook their hard and very dangerous work. My condolences to the family, friends and coworkers of the lineman. #dukeenergy

Awesome job by @HarrisburgPio as he supported @midland_firenc over a tough few days. He will continue to assist them over next few weeks while they transition to a new PIO. @HarrisburgFire Honor Guard also assisted graveside at today’s services as well, brotherhood at its finest.
