I am a Veteran who served 24yrs for my Queen and Country. I would never take up arms for this tyrannical corrupt Government, nor spill my blood for this inept king. I would however, fight to regain my country from this communist dystopian nightmare.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Life President Ken Friar OBE. Since our formation in 1886, there have been many inspirational individuals who have driven our club forward, but no one has had an influence on Arsenal Football Club quite like ‘Mr Friar’ and he leaves an extraordinary life of service to the club as his legacy. One that will surely never be matched. Rest in peace ❤️

Absolute crock of shite
We are witnessing tonight what PSR have done to Newcastle. They have had their entire spine ripped out to stop them competing. Any team wanting to compete and daring to dream shouldn't be supporting these rules. They're a disgrace to this sport. They only benefit certain clubs.

Fuckin brilliant !! Get it right round ye @paddypower !! Woman should sue for loss of interest she would have gained if she had 1 million in her bank for 4 years Scumbags
A gardener’s iPad showed she’d won £1.1 MILLION on a Paddy Power game. They paid her £20,265.14 and said the screen was wrong. Four and a half years later, a High Court judge ruled the screen was right. – Corrine Durber was a gardener from Gloucestershire, England. – In October 2020 she was playing a Paddy Power game called Wild Hatter on her iPad. It combines a fruit machine with a wheel-of-fortune bonus round. – She won the first stage, moved to the next level, and spun the jackpot wheel. – The screen showed the “Monster Jackpot” of £1,097,132.71. – She took a screenshot. – Paddy Power paid her £20,265.14, the amount for the smaller “Daily Jackpot,” and gave no explanation. – She complained to the company the same evening. – Paddy Power said a programming error had made the screen show the wrong prize. Its random number generator, it said, had only selected the Daily Jackpot. – Its terms and conditions said the generator’s result was final and that it wasn’t liable for system errors. – That was the whole problem. Paddy Power wrote the game, ran the software that picked the result, wrote the rules, and then decided which number counted when its own screen disagreed with its own system. – A prediction market doesn’t work that way. There’s no house writing the game or choosing the result afterward. – You trade against another person at a price someone actually agreed to, and your payout comes from the person on the other side, not from a company deciding the number on your screen was a mistake. – She sued for breach of contract. – In March 2025, Mr Justice Ritchie granted summary judgment in her favor, so there was no full trial. – His 62-page ruling found that human error in mapping the game’s software caused the on-screen result to differ from the generator’s. It affected 14 plays over 48 days. – The judge said customers expect the house to pay if they bet on number 13 and the ball lands on 13. – He found the terms unfair and unenforceable under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, and not part of her contract. – He also said it was unfair to place all the risk on the consumer for the company’s own errors, negligence, and inadequate testing. – She said the judge confirmed she had “fairly and squarely won £1 MILLION.” – She said Paddy Power had “tried their very best to deny me my rightful winnings.” – She said she would never bet with them again. A gardener hit £1.1 MILLION on her iPad, was paid £20,000 instead, and spent four and a half years in court proving the screen was right.

If you tell the electorate in say Makersfield you’ll not revisit Brexit (because they voted for it) then do exactly that… where does that leave you? Especially when you’re a PM the country did NOT vote for. I’m sick to death of political lies. From all sides. Anyone else?

How the government works... The King wanted to go fishing, and he asked the royal weather forecaster for the forecast for the next few hours. The palace meteorologist assured him that there was no chance of rain. So the King and the Queen went fishing. On the way, he met a man with a fishing pole riding on a donkey, and he asked the man if the fish were biting. The fisherman said, "Your Majesty, you should return to the palace! In just a short time I expect a huge rain storm." The King replied: "I hold the palace meteorologist in high regard. He is an educated and experienced professional. Besides, I pay him very high wages. He gave me a very different forecast. I trust him." So the King continued on his way. However, in a short time, a torrential rain fell from the sky. The King and Queen were totally soaked. Furious, the King returned to the palace and gave the order to fire the meteorologist. Then he summoned the fisherman and offered him the prestigious position of royal forecaster. The fisherman said, "Your Majesty, I do not know anything about forecasting. I obtain my information from my donkey. If I see my donkey's ears drooping, it means with certainty that it will rain." So the King hired the donkey. And so began the practice of hiring dumb asses to work in influential positions of government. The practice is unbroken to this day.

My vote on Brexit was affected by disinformation. I voted Remain because I was told if Leave won there would be terrible consequences. The BoE Governor told me he would raise interest rates - he lowered them. The Chancellor said he'd have an emergency budget - he didn't. The Treasury said unemployment would go up - it went down. Goldman Sachs and others said they would pull out of Britain - they spent billions on new HQs The Chief Executive of the NHS Alliance said there would be an epidemic of super-gonorrhoea. As for foreign interference - The EU, the US and Irish Presidents etc etc all weighed in on the side of Remain.

If Mr Burnham wants to expose foreign influence in the Brexit referendum he should look into President Obama, the IMF, the OECD and the EU itself. How many more would have voted for Brexit without their false gloomy forecasts?

Dear Andy Burnham, the Oxford Internet Institute examined social media after the Brexit vote. Their conclusion was that Russian traffic made up around a one thousandth of just one percent of Brexit traffic. Thus, I suspect you're lying; so put up your evidence or shut up.

It’s this simple - Put in place - Commercial acumen Scouting acumen Training acumen Tactically astute manager in place Then Build a brand and identity on / off pitch - Plan over 5/6/7 years - build step by step Then you’ll compete - it’s not rocket science- it takes time
It’s this simple. If ManCity loses, ManCity, Newcastle, Aston Villa, Everton, Leeds, Nottingham Forest, whoever …… will never win the league ever again. 4 teams will share the EPL forever or until they run off and relaunch the super league.

Personally I would have a get together of all premier league clubs excluding city from it, and just boycotting the remaining fixtures unless they’re expelled. Go on a mass strike, no premier league football at all until it’s resolved.

Tell me you don’t understand without telling me….. 👇🏻
Man City broke all the rules. All the rules are bent and corrupt. Everyone can have an opinion on who is in the wrong, but owners spending money on a business they own isn’t illegal in any other form of business. In fact, some would say it’s encouraged.

It can’t just be me sitting here with this sickening feeling as a fan, watching this city team that’s been assembled by fraudulent money and a cheating executive board, continuing to be allowed to laugh in the face of fans that spend their hard earned money week in week out!

City winning means nothing, winning games built off the sweat of cheats, is hollow. @premierleague need to apply sanctions now, the integrity of the league is on the edge. #CityCheating
