Here are the key takeaways from Digital Assets Week London, from Optimism’s Director of Enterprise Sales, Adoni Ioannou:
1. Collateral mobility is becoming a major focus. Institutions want to use assets more efficiently without having to sell them just to post cash.
2. Interoperability was the word of the week. Public and private networks need to connect, while institutions maintain control over access and sensitive data.
3. “24/7” means different things to different institutions. For some, it’s global access. For others, settlement and operational efficiency come first.
The direction is clear: lower costs, more efficient capital, and better financial products onchain.
