We did nothing (not buy their games) and that's why they're dead.

You’re barking up the wrong tree man, I think BioWare games were always Reddit chungus, the fact is that your fat ass didn’t do anything to “kill” BioWare, it was shot down by corporate overlords that you are now tethering yourself to unquestionably for updoots
Sam Altman is a cancer
sam: local inference is a terrible allocation of scarce resources
“a lot of people want local inference, and somehow they assume that the problem is solved now because we have open-source models, we're going to be able to run them on our computers, and so we're not going to need all the stuff in the data centre
but from a global allocation perspective, actually it's quite terrible to have everybody, like, have a bunch of the world's limited supply of DRAM sitting in their own computer and being used five percent of the time
you want maximum utilisation in the cloud if you're trying to deal with this very supply-constrained environment
somehow many people's intuition is the opposite of that”
imma be honest i think anyone thinking it would top wukong is delusional and doesnt understand the significance wukong and the story of his journey to the west. arguably their most treasured character and their most treasured story treated well here.

It couldn't have surpassed Wukong, because Wukong was an epoch-making game for China. At that time, many people who didn't usually play this kind of game would be curious to buy it and see what it meant. People don't do that anymore.
i can see this peaking higher on friday/saturday
Phantom Blade Zero is going full steam and chasing to be the 2nd most concurrent user on steam! Do you think it will get there? 630,000+ now
List of single player games, let me know if I missed any:
🔹 Black Myth: Wukong – 2,415,714
🔹 Cyberpunk 2077 – 1,054,388
🔹 Elden Ring – 953,426
🔹 Hogwarts Legacy – 879,308
🔹 Baldur’s Gate 3 – 875,343
🔹 Phantom Blade Zero – 631,193
🔹 Hollow Knight: Silksong – 587,150
🔹 Slay the Spire 2 – 574,638
🔹 Fallout 4 – 472,962
🔹 Sons of the Forest – 414,257
🔹 The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim – 287,411
🔹 Crimson Desert – 276,261
People who still discredit the success of Phantom Blade Zero and Black Myth: Wukong by saying "lol its the Chinese" are hilarious because these people still show up to support their countries games while the woke DEI crowd let theirs rot and studios shut down in 5 months.
I dont disagree but ive also had numerous moments in this game where im honestly glad they dont respawn and its made back tracking easier. i know for a fact that area was not touched if i see enemies. also not being able to look while in combat with respawns is aids.

This is a huge humiliation for the Western gaming industry at the hands of IGN China. But honestly, they have a point.
The Western industry seems to be losing its way, with massive budgets and corporate decisions and political agenda taking priority over just what gamers want, fun gameplay.
Phantom Blade Zero shows that sometimes it’s really simple: make a game that’s fun to play, and people will play it
