The Milwaukee Brewers claimed their first World Series title Wednesday, powered by a faith-guided core of players and strong team chemistry that helped them overcome one of baseball’s lowest payrolls.
The Brewers defeated host Tampa Bay 4-1, earning the first World Series title for a franchise that began in 1969 as the Seattle Pilots before moving to Wisconsin in 1970.
Milwaukee’s $143.5 million payroll ranked 19th among MLB’s 30 teams and was less than half that of more storied franchises such as the New York Mets ($346.8 million), Los Angeles Dodgers ($338 million) and New York Yankees ($304.6 million), which held the top three spots. In fact, the Brewers swept the Dodgers in the National League Championship Series.

Alaska governor orders investigation into Mary Peltola’s ballot scheme bit.ly/4zmGsKS
A former U.S. intelligence officer told Heartlander News that rhetoric employed by the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) and, increasingly, by Democrats is rooted in KGB tactics used to undermine the United States.
The issue takes on increasing importance as an undercover investigation by @townhallcom reveals that California Gov. Gavin Newsom, a Democrat and presidential hopeful, described DSA ideology as “a mainstream democratic movement” while on the campaign trail in New Hampshire.
Conservative legal analyst and constitutional scholar Professor Jonathan Turley has documented how Democrats, including Newsom, are increasingly borrowing language from the DSA that claims, among other things, that the U.S. Constitution oppresses people.

President Donald Trump @POTUS called Wednesday for Democrat Mary Peltola to resign from the Alaska Senate race and face criminal charges after an alleged scheme involving “a fake candidate” with the same name as Republican Sen. Dan Sullivan was revealed.
“Oh, it’s terrible what’s happened in Alaska,” Trump said outside Air Force One in response to a question from Heartlander News.
“They took a candidate named Dan Sullivan to run against another candidate who’s a great senator named Dan Sullivan in order to cheat in the election. They said they didn’t do it, and we caught him cold.
“Mary Peltola should resign from the race,” he continued, adding later that he thought this was “voter fraud at the highest level.”
“I think she should be prosecuted criminally for what she did,” Trump said.

A national advocate and a local whistleblower rallied south of St. Louis Tuesday, urging Missouri voters to pass a landmark constitutional amendment restricting abortion and permanently banning sex-change procedures for minors.
Current Missouri law already bans sex-change surgeries for minors, but the restriction on castration drugs and hormones is scheduled to expire August 2027.
State lawmakers could pass new legislation extending the expiring provisions, but passing Amendment 3 would permanently enshrine the complete ban into the state’s constitution and reinstate abortion restrictions. Once enacted as a constitutional amendment, the restrictions could only be overturned by another statewide vote of the people.

@POTUS responds to @HeartlanderNews question here:
🚨 HOLY CRAP! President Trump demands Mary Peltola (D) "RESIGN FROM THE RACE" for Alaska US Senate and be "CRIMINALLY PROSECUTED" after the fake Dan Sullivan ballot scheme
"They should be prosecuted. THAT'S VOTER FRAUD." 💯
"This guy, Dan Sullivan, just ran against Dan Sullivan. It turned out it was a scheme by the Democrats. That's what they do best. They cheat!"
"They went to court and they knew nothing about it, they had nothing to do with it. So that's a fraud. It's a fraud to the public. And they had a Dan Sullivan running against Senator Dan Sullivan!"
"The people won't be able to tell. IT'S A FRAUD. THEY GOT CAUGHT. It was a PLOT by the Democrat Party."
He's right, it's time to kick her off the ballot.
NO MORE GAMES. NO allowing cheating!

I asked the president about the Alaska Senate race after the NYT reported that Mary Peltola’s campaign recruited another Dan Sullivan to run to confuse voters. I asked him what “consequences” he was referring to for Mary Peltola in a Truth Social post he made earlier Wednesday:
