Klay Thompson on Warriors rookie Yaxel Lendeborg, per @TomerAzarly: “He's playing great. I'm not surprised because he looks like he's a great athlete with NBA size. And I know he had a great college career. Steve [Kerr] is a great coach, he's got a great staff, and he can get the most out of guys. So I'm not too surprised. And he's got a good leader in Draymond [Green]. They probably go back and forth with the Michigan State-Michigan rivalry. But Draymond is a great leader for young players. And so is Steph [Curry]. So I'm not too surprised.”

Every time LeBron James has started a season 8-1, he’s made the NBA Finals 👀 Will history repeat itself this year for Bron and the Sixers? 🤔

Klay Thompson after dropping 30 points and making 8 threes in the Heat's OT win vs. the Clippers: "I enjoy having big nights but I don't go into games with the mindset like I have to prove myself. I know what I'm capable of, and as long as I stay in great conditioning, I'm going to have plenty of nights like this throughout the season. That's why I'm so attracted to Miami. The culture is real. They really get the most of out you, especially at this stage of my career." (via @TomerAzarly)

Erik Spoelstra believes the early struggles of LeBron James and the Heatles were different from that of Giannis Antetokounmpo and this year's Heat, per @TomerAzarly. "That year, we started 9-8, but it was different. Different challenges. That team was a spectacular defensive team from day one and we had to go through a lot of really tough, uncomfortable things offensively to get everybody on the same page and to unlock that season... "[This year] some of the offensive things, we've put up some big numbers in some of the games. There's some things that have gone a lot better early offensively for us than, maybe, we anticipated."
